[I censored the F**** C*** because I respect the rules. Nobody talks about the F**** C***]

Hollywood What If Chapter 197

The F**** C*** was one of the masterpieces that David Fincher created. It was a cult classic that was still relevant even in the next three decades. People loved watching the F**** C***.

The movie was based on a novel and David got the movie rights because he was so enthusiastic about it. He wanted to direct the movie because, of course, it had an amazing plot.

They invited Brad Pitt to participate in the movie. David Fincher and Brad Pitt had a good relationship and this was their second time working together.

This would not be their last time cooperating, a few later, Brad Pitt would star in another David Fincher movie. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.

Se7en, F**** C***, and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button. These three movies had interesting plots and David Fincher filmed all of them. He was good at his genre, noir film.

After Kazir and Cameron entered the theater, the cast showed up one by one.

Kazir and Cameron were not the stars of this movie, they were just guests.

Brad Pitt and Edward Norton appeared and did short interviews... Thankfully, they were not high this time.

At the Venice Film Festival four weeks ago, the first premier of F**** C*** happened. The movie was interesting, however, it gained hatred from the participants.

Hollywood movies were better than foreign movies back then. It might sound patronizing but it was the truth. The directors from different countries who participated in this Film Festival took the importance of winning. In the first place, the Venice Film Festival was located in Europe, and European directors never liked Hollywood.

The critics and directors hated the movie. This hatred was directed at the crew of F**** C*** and Brad Pitt and Edward Norton clearly felt it.

Venice Film Festival lasted ten days, to make the situation alleviate, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton decided to smoke weed. Yup, they were high while the F**** C*** was having a 10-day premiere at Venice Film Festival.

Of course, F**** C*** never won the Venice Film Festival. But the funny thing was that Eyes Wide Shut directed by Stanley Kubrick won the FilmCritica "Bastone Bianco" Award. It seemed that Hollywood movies were still doing fine at European film festivals.

So yeah, Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were not high this time. At least it didn't appear so. The movie premiere in the United States was peaceful.

Kazir Grey talked with David Fincher and congratulated him before the movie was even released.

David was happy that Kazir was confident in his movie, it eased his nervousness a little bit.

Unlike David Fincher, Kazir Grey knew the outcome of the movie. Even though the F**** C*** didn't have a good box office because of its theme, the videotape sales of this movie were very good.

Obviously, F**** C*** was the type of movie that people preferred to watch in their house, not in theaters. Shawshank Redemption was in this category.

"Kazir, I'm happy to meet you again." Brad Pitt was the one who approached Kazir this time.

"Me too, Brad."

Kazir Grey shook hands with Brad Pitt. The two were acquaintances and they had some interactions back in Se7en.

Brad Pitt actually didn't expect that Kazir Grey would become a successful director after Se7en. He thought Kazir would be a screenwriter at best.

He thought that Napoleon Dynamite would be a fluke and his next movies would flop.

But his expectations were not met. Instead of falling down, Kazir Grey steadily went up.

The Hangover, Taken, John Wick, and The Bourne Identity. These four movies had good performances at the box office. Taken impacted society and it brought Liam Neeson his Best Actor Award!

For an actor like Brad Pitt, of course he wanted to get an Oscar Statue. This was true for everyone who was part of this industry.

They wanted to be recognized by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science. Honestly, Brad Pitt was jealous. Not only him, but many actors were jealous of Liam Neeson's success lately. Heck, Liam Neeson got a huge salary in Star Wars this year! The effect of Oscar!

Knowing that Kazir Grey had strong capabilities, Brad Pitt decided to deepen their friendship.

Even Morgan Freeman got a role in Kazir's so-called Cinematic Universe.

Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman were the starring actors in Se7en.

"Your movies are very good, Kazir. I watched The Bourne Identity and it gave me an adrenaline rush."

"Haha, thanks, Brad."

"Then, see you around."

Brad Pitt didn't have to act so obvious. One thing was clear... He might audition for Kazir's next movie. Perhaps he could get the role?

After talking to many people, Kazir returned to his seat. He looked around and found Cameron Diaz talking to her friends. She returned as well once the theater was filled with people.

The movie started and the audience put their focus on the huge screen.

.........

......

...

"... This is very interesting."

Kazir muttered while looking at the newspaper. He realized that his existence was indeed changing the future. Now, he was wondering how many changes he would witness.

The front page of the newspaper was about the big movie release this week, which was F**** C***.

The movie was distributed by 20th Century Fox and the newspaper that Kazir was reading under News Corporation.

The headline was "Fight Club grossed $31 million at the box after one week of its release."

Kazir was skeptical about it because based on what he remembered, F**** C*** would only grossed $101 million at the global box office.

Meaning, the first week of the F**** C*** should be lower, definitely not $31 million. Yet the reality was in front of him.

The F**** C*** had a change of box office in this timeline.

"Based on its first week, Fight Club might grossed more than $100 million in North America alone. If that happened, then the overseas box will be around $100 million as well."

Thank you for respecting the rules 🫡

Atchie

that is one of my favorite movies, even though it's so dumb it's great

Eduardo Torres

Are you going to include Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the universe? It would be a great movie considering they're a couple of assassins.

Darui

Yup. All of Kazir's movies are pushing the "realism" of the fighting, so FC would do better due to audience assimilation. Good on you for pushing the logic and setup for future development!
