The news about Junian was shocking. There was a dungeon under Melbed and it was housing thousands of Demihumans. These Demihumans escaped the dungeon when the zombie hordes attacked. 

From that angle, Esmeralda deduced that one of the prisoners was her daughter. She believed that her daughter was actually suffering at the hands of the Royal Family.

As for the reasons why Calix didn't want to tell her about it, she had no idea. Perhaps there was more reason for it. 

'I can feel it... My daughter is alive.'

Through a strange connection, she believed that her daughter was alive. 

"Don't worry, Toshi... Mama will save you."

She clenched her fists. To make sure that her daughter would never suffer again, Esmeralda had to destroy Junian from its roots.

If they didn't agree, Esmeralda Margaret might have to use violence to convince them. As long as she accomplishes her mission, she won't hesitate. Even going as far as forsaking her loved ones. 

The spies she planted in Junian started their missions. They would destroy the country from within. As long they succeeded, then Dellia and the allied countries would win this war. 

As for the deaths, Esmeralda already grew numb from it. She was not an innocent girl anymore. She witnessed and experienced so many things. She was ready to face bad karma if she had to. 

'Calix and Shoujo are trying to contact The Triad. With Calix's capabilities, I believe they will achieve their mission soon.'

Her feelings for Calix were very complicated. She wanted to hug him, forgive him, and love him. But the anger and disappointment in her heart didn't let her do it. 

She chuckled. The man who would save her from suffering was the one who made her suffer more.

A strong siren echoed all over the city and even Esmeralda heard it inside the bathroom. 

She looked outside and confirmed that another Cannon shot was approaching. 

Junian intended to destroy the capitals of the allied countries. Because of this, most DemiGods had to stay in their cities to protect them.

It was already fortunate that Dellia had the Obice to protect them. However, even Obice could not protect them if The Cannon fired two shots at the same time... Just like now. 

Esmeralda came out of the office and flew towards the sky with dark wings on her back. 

After having sex with Calix, she could use her full power under the sun for five hours with no restrictions. After that, she needed to rest or have sex with Calix before returning to her top status. 

The first Cannon shot hit the invisible barrier that protected the country of Dellia. It was amazing that this barrier covered almost the entirety of Dellia, the power of Fragment of Excalibur was truly amazing. 

In fact, Dellia was the least damaged out of all the allied countries. The Obice protected them.

Cracks formed in the barrier but didn't fail to block the Cannon shot. The first shot exploded in the sky, creating a CGI-like explosion. Millions of people witnessed the explosion, Capitolium was a populated city after all. 

Then the next shot arrived. Everyone knew that the barrier could not block the second shot. The Obice needed time to fix itself. 

Thankfully, the guardian of the country showed up. The people cheered as they witnessed how Esmeralda Margaret slashed the missile into small pieces. 

The explosion didn't damage the city. 

However, Esmeralda was not relaxed. She knew that this was not over. 

"President."

Just as she expected, Yuna Garcia showed up. 

Yuna was the fastest one who could summon a portal. Perhaps this was the boon she received after having so much sex with Calix. 

"I understand. Take me to the location where the Cannon will arrive."

"Yes."

Yuna was very serious this time. Even though she did this procedure so many times this past few months, she was still nervous. 

One mistake and it might cost them millions of lives. 

A portal materialized and Esmeralda entered it. Then she destroyed the missile in that location. Then Yuna created another portal that led to another city and Esmeralda destroyed another missile in that direction. 

War was a terrifying thing for both sides. No one would win. Both sides would only suffer, it just depends on how much destruction they would face.

Calix muttered while the criminals around him were groaning. They were bleeding all over their bodies as if they experienced near-death torture. 

"It might sound like I'm a hypocrite but I have no mercy towards people like you."

Calix was wearing the monocle on his left eye and he could see how sinful these people were. 

All of them had red auras, two even had dark red auras. Meaning, they were bonafide assholes. 

Calix had no reason to be merciful. Not with them, they didn't deserve it. 

'I can't imagine what crimes they did just to get red auras.'
