Bam--!

A huge explosion rose up from the battlefield. It shook the ground and the soldiers almost lost their balance. 

Antonio Saite stumbled when the explosion happened. He immediately crawled to the safest location to make sure that he would survive. He gripped his rifle as he hid behind a boulder, hoping that he could survive another day.

Antonio Saite was a citizen of Junian. He was a simple college student a few months ago. 

Unfortunately, their insane King bombed the neighboring countries and announced the war. Rumors were circulating that the government was innocent about the bombing but Antonio beg to differ. 

The government was the root of evil in their country. Especially the Royal Family. 

In the first place, they hid the fact that they imprisoned Demihumans inhumanely! That itself, was a crime that deserves punishment! 

"Fuck that Pig King!"

Antonio cursed while the bullets were flying around. All he could do was blame the fat King for his predicament. 

The government issued a martial law. Every man who was over 15 years old should serve in the military for two years. That's right, EVERY FUCKING MEN. 

"Why not make it 'every family should send one man to the military'?"

Because of that stupid law, his brother and father were sent to the war. They spent three months training before getting sent to the war. 

Antonio Saite realized that his gun was low battery and he needed to recharge the battery. 

He gritted his teeth and fired back at the soldiers of Desmonda. 

In this war, Junian was facing four countries and three of them were bordering Junian, they were Dellia, Carrillo, and Desmonda. Even Ancas which was known as a military country was sending soldiers to the border. 

If there was a good thing that Antonio was proud of, it was the fact that Junian was very strong. The Cannon alone was so strong that it could pose a threat against the four countries. 

'If there's one thing I'm very confused about... I don't know why the Empire of Xummolu is joining this war! Fuck they are strong!'

Antonio Saite was losing his mind in this endless exchange of bullets. For an expendable soldier like him who didn't have the privilege to wear a battlesuit, one bullet was enough to end his life. 

He was nothing but an ant in this war of warlords.

Antonio talked to himself to make sure that he was in the right mind. He was afraid that the war would make him crazy. Or perhaps he was already crazy. 

Suddenly, a woman landed close to his location. The woman had red hair and red eyes like she was a descendant of the vampires. 

The temperature around her was very high like it could boil a person to death. 

The woman started summoning flame serpents that rushed to the enemies. Furthermore, she spammed dozens of giant fireballs, targeting the soldiers who gathered together. 

Her red eyes shone, showing her anger. Yes, the woman was angry. 

"... The Demoness Of Flame."

Antonio weakly muttered. He knew the woman. He never met him in person but he knew the story about her. 

The Demoness Of Flame, this name became famous a few months ago when Scarlett Robinson joined the war. 

She was famous all over the world as the most talented TA User in history. She already became a 3rd Advanced at the age of 23. Some even said that her 3rd awakening was earlier than that. 

When she joined the war, everyone who witnessed her power died. No one survived her wrath, not even her allies. 

Because of that, she became known as the Demoness Of Flame. 

"Rrraaaggghh--!!"

"Arrgh--! Stop the fire! Stop the fire, I'm going to die!"

The soldiers started screaming. Their bodies burned to ashes. 

Antonio gulped hard as he realized that it was hard to breathe. 

He stared at the woman...

Suddenly, Scarlett Robinson looked at him and Antonio jolted in fear. He dropped his weapon and started running away. He was afraid! Afraid that he would die. 

He felt that his blood was boiling until he exploded to pieces. The fear inside him became the ignition of his death. 

"Sigh, because of my 3rd Term Attribute, I accidentally killed some of my allies because they are afraid of me. So the general sent me to the front where my allies can't reach."

Scarlett sighed. These days, all she did was kill soldiers.

Being the Matriarch of the Red Tempest Clan, Scarlett Robinson had to prove herself in this war.

In the war, showing mercy is a sin. Her state of mind didn't have the luxury to feel bad about the people she killed. All she could do was win this war fast so that no more blood would be shed.

"Once this war is over, I will take a vacation in the ski resort and spend my time with Calix."

She muttered while the death count near her was increasing. Her 3rd Term Attribute was turned on. If a person who was scared of her was caught in 100 meters, that person would die in an explosion. 

While yawning, a TA User from Junian flew in her direction and cast a tornado!

Scarlett realized that someone tried to attack her. She used a fireball to defend against the tornado.

The man who attacked her was none other than Methecula.
