Datu Azim and her tribesmen ran so fast that they reached the village in just a matter of seconds. 

She gritted and realized that the slave merchants were waiting for the time when they were gone to attack the village and kidnap her tribesmen. 

Half of the warriors would leave the village together to hunt food and bring it back. While the others would stay in the village and guard it. 

Lately, the tribesmen became the target of slave merchants because of their genes. The tribe of Gaia had a history of being the descendants of desert Dwarves. 

Because of this, the children who were born in the tribe had the Term Attribute related to earth and sand. To make it better or worse, most of the tribesmen were TA Users!

Unfortunately, the strongest warrior in the village was only 2nd Advanced it was none other than Datu Azim. 

She held a deep grudge against the slave merchants. These criminals would kidnap the tribesmen to sell them. The women who were kidnapped suffered the worst fate because they were mostly used to give birth to earth elemental TA Users. 

Unfortunately, even though the tribesmen wanted to leave and change the location of the village, it was impossible to find an ownerless oasis in the desert. This oasis was their only means of surviving in this hot wilderness. They couldn't afford to leave the oasis and find another place to live. 

Now, they constantly suffering from attacks from slave merchants. 

Seeing the attackers pulling a defenseless woman who was holding a crying baby, Datu Azim roared. 

"Die!"

The ground beneath the attacker turned solid and an earth spear protruded.

The attacker was surprised, the earth spear successfully stabbed his left leg and he screamed in pain. The circulation of battlesuits in the Western Continent was not that good and only strong people were qualified to wear them. 

For a simple criminal like him, it was impossible to get a battlesuit to protect his body.

The criminal saw that the hunting group returned. He raised his gun and started shooting at them. He was an ordinary person who didn't have Term Attribute. The energy gun he was holding was an old one and it could only fire up to 12 shots before getting a battery reload. 

He gritted his teeth in anger. Yet his vision was covered in dust and he didn't expect another earth spear to stab him in the back. He died just like that. 

Datu Azim approached the mother and baby. She sighed in relief when she realized that they were alright. Of course she recognized the woman, she was her cousin. 

"Tala, stay back and take your daughter!"

"Thank you, Datu Azim!"

The woman started running to the hunting group so that she could be protected. 

Datu Azim gritted her teeth and looked at the village. Most of the houses were burning. If not because they were made of though bones, they might turned black charcoal and be impossible to retrieve. 

She charged at the enemy and killed them one by one. With no mercy. 

Using the sand to block their vision and using the earth spear to kill them, Datu slayed five criminals in the process. 

"Haha! So you're the leader of this tribe! I can't believe that you're a woman. I heard that your tribe has many exotic beauties so I decided to join this mission! I'm lucky to meet someone like you! I wonder how feisty you will be once I cut all of your limbs and fuck you!"

The man had tattoos all over his body. He was topless and he was not wearing any battlesuit, showing that he was confident in his strength. He was speaking in his native tongue, perhaps someone living in this region as well. 

"I'm Ragil. You're master!"

Ragil licked his lips and took a step. He then dashed forward to attack Datu Azim. 

The tribe leader prepared herself for the battle. She realized that the man was dangerous and she might die if she made one mistake. 

Yet before the battle even started, Ragil dropped to the ground with his head missing. Someone shot him from afar!

The arrogant man died just like that!

Datu Azim was shocked and then followed the trajectory where the bullet came from.

With her strong eyesight as a hunter, she realized that the man she met earlier killed Ragil.

"..."

The man waved his hand before killing another criminal. One by one, the sound of gunshots echoed until only a few criminals were left alive. 

After the case was solved, the tribesmen inspected the village and sighed when they realized that half of the houses were burned. 

But the good news was that all of the tribesmen were safe. Some were injured but they were all alive. It seems that the warriors protecting the village realized the attack alerted the tribe. 

It was all good as long as the tribesmen were alive. 

However, despite the incident being over, another foreigner showed up. 

"I come in peace."

Calix said using the translator but the warriors frowned instead. 

Calix was not sure if they understood what he said. So he decided to look at Datu Azim instead. 

"... Why are you here?"

With a rough Eastern Continent language, Datu Azim asked the man. 

"Just like what I said earlier, I'm here to find the Floating Castle."

"The Floating Castle is a moving city and it houses many criminals. I advise you not to go there."

Because of the help she received, Datu Azim told him that the Floating Castle was dangerous. 

"Besides, we have no idea where the Floating Castle is."

"I know," Calix grinned. "But I believe some of the criminals knew."

That was the reason why Calix didn't kill all of the pillagers.
