"You look good in the suit, sir."

Erica Mendez praised Kazir. 

"... I don't like makeup on my face but I guess I don't have a choice."

Kazir hired a professional designer for him. The time was hectic so the suit he was wearing was made within three days. As for his appearance, he received a slight touch-on to make sure that his face didn't look oily in front of the camera. 

'I'm not part of the presenters and I'm just a normal guest.'

However, the cameras in this venue were all around and ready to record their expressions. At least Kazir must be prepared. There was nothing bad about it. 

"Erica, you can leave now. I'm going to take care of myself."

"Yes sir."

Kazir Grey was the type who preferred to be lonely. As a mature old man who returned back in time, he didn't like too much interaction. 

'I'm always alone in my past life and I carried that characteristic even now.'

It was hard to change some things. 

After thanking the designer and Erica, he bid them farewell.

When he came out of the building, a limousine was waiting for him. Salvatore showed up in a limousine. 

"Looks like you're getting rich." Kazir grinned. 

"Don't joke around. I just rent this car, so make sure to not scratch it."

"Of course."

Kazir entered the limousine. It would be awkward if he showed up in front of Shrine Auditorium with a bumpy car.

"Tch, you have millions in your bank account! Why don't you buy a luxury car!?"

If Salvatore Barlowe earned 7 digits last year, then Kazir Grey earned 8 digits. The difference between the two was astronomical. Furthermore, Grey Pictures' profit this past 8 months was over $100 million.

"Meh, my Honda is working fine. Why do I have to buy another one?"

Kazir shrugged and found it useless. In the first place he didn't like luxury cars, especially Ferrari. 

'I can't customize a Ferrari car so it's garbage.'

His opinion on cars might be incomplete.

"Kazir, I have a suggestion. Try to contact the important members of the Academy. They can help you."

"I know."

The members of the Academy consist of old men from the old era of Hollywood. Because of their age, they have formed many connections. 

Another thing to note was that the higher-ups of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science(MPAS) mostly consist of Jews. 

"Do you understand what I mean?"

"Of course Salvatore, if there's a chance, I will talk to them." 

Just like that, they reached the Shrine Auditorium. The appearance of actors was placed in order and Kazir's limousine was the 22nd car that showed up. 

Just like usual, Kazir Grey stepped on the red carpet, waved his hands, posed in front of cameras, and got interviewed by a reporter from ABC. The standards procedure.

"Our most handsome Director, Kazir Grey! Where is the muse of our handsome Director?"

The reporter this time was a flirty woman. She was wearing a red dress, her cleavage was quite obvious because she has massive ahem--!

Anyway, Kazir Grey was already a famous Director, and many actresses were trying to seduce him. Most of the time, he attended parties and movie premieres alone. Only Reese Witherspoon was the woman who could be his partner. 

Well, many women were trying to end that record. Hollywood was a place where beauties were all around. If Kazir Grey is a real man, the time will come when he will have a relationship with another woman. 

"I'm single so I think I'm allowed to attend the Academy Awards with myself."

The reporter giggled and slipped her contact number into his pocket. Kazir kept his smile but he didn't like it at all.

"Are you confident that you will win the Best Screenplay? And who do you think will win if you're not confident?"

"I watched Goodwill Hunting and I like it."

"Aha. So you believe that Matt Damon will get the award."

"Honestly, I want to win." He laughed. 

Taken was nominated for Best Screenplay and since Kazir Grey was the scriptwriter, the honor was on him. 

He knew that his greatest enemy was Matt Damon who wrote Goodwill Hunting. 

'On top of that, Matt Damon might become Jason Bourne so I can't cause trouble.'

Everyone knows that Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. Even though Matt Damon was still young, he was still Kazir's first choice as Jason Bourne. 

'Besides, it's just screenplay. What I want is the Best Director statue.'

"I believe that this year is James Cameron's year. I watched Titanic and I cried a lot."

Kazir Grey excused himself and entered the venue. The venue was already half full and the program would start once everyone was inside. 

Titanic got 14 nominations. They have a strong chance of winning more than half of the 14 nominations. 

'One thing is sure... James Cameron will win Best Director this year. It's a good thing that I don't have a nomination, or else it will be useless against him.' 

Nobody could stop the trend of Titanic. Not even Kazir Grey. 

Kazir Grey looked around and found the section for Taken. Liam Neeson and the other cast of Taken were waiting for him. He even found the little gremlin named Scarlett Johansson. 

"You're late."

"I'm not free unlike you. I have so many things to do." Kazir replied to the little girl.

"Me too! I'm attending school! Humph!"
