Hollywood What If Chapter 136

"Cut! That's it, we can rest ten minutes."

The director announced and Harrison Ford returned to his grumpy mood.

"Sir, this is your towel."

His assistant understood the assignment and quickly passed him a hot towel. They were filming on an island and it was cold at night. 

"Thanks." 

Harrison muttered and accepted it. Then, another person from the crew passed him a coffee. 

Even though Harrison Ford was currently filming Six Days, Seven Nights, his mind was flying around. He was thinking about the filming of John Wick that was happening in another part of the world. 

He was still bitter about it. Harrison Ford expressed his interest in the script. He didn't have a problem wearing a wig to have long hair. It was already impossible for him to get shoulder-length hair within 3 months. So using a wig was the best option. He didn't have a problem taking training lessons either, he was used to it since most of his movies were action movies. 

Anyway, Grey Pictures gave him the script and he liked it. Although he wanted to adjust some stuff about John Wick such as his dialogues... 

'John Wick has so little dialogue. The antagonist has so many lines compared to him.'

A quiet person. That was how John Wick best described was. Most of his line was "Yeah."

Harrison Ford didn't like that fact. 

Since Harrison Ford was a superstar, he obviously got the power to bypass the first and second rounds of the audition. 

When the third round ended, he was confident that he would get the role. Of course, the contract should be in his favor such as the salary, box office share, and sequels. 

After his agent contacted Grey Pictures, the outcome was not what he wanted. Grey Pictures didn't try to negotiate, they immediately decided to choose Viggo Mortensen. 

'Viggo what? I don't even know that guy.'

He could not believe that he lost to an unknown actor. Him, a superstar, a person known almost all around the world. 

Perhaps his salary and his unwillingness to sign a trilogy caused this outcome but Grey Pictures should try to negotiate! They didn't even show any hesitation and chose an unknown actor. 

Harrison Ford was angry although he understood why it happened. His heart and mind contradict. 

One thing was sure... He didn't like to see the movie get a good result. At least his current movie, "Six Days, Seven Nights", should have a better performance than John Wick. That was the only way for him to feel better. 

"After this, we shoot another scene!"

The director announced and everyone started preparing. 

Even though Harrison Ford was a superstar, he knew that he was an actor who should take each movie seriously. Six Days, Seven Nights was not his first choice but at least his salary was much better. He showed dedication equal to the salary he got. 

He sipped his coffee and hoped that Kazir Grey would have a flop movie. 

'I don't want to experience what happened in Air Force One again.'

"Okay, Lights, Camera, Action!"

Since Fremont was gone taking shots of Waldorf Astoria Hotel, another person took his position holding the clapperboard. 

The crew rented a bar to film the most action-packed portion of John Wick. 

This was the scene where John Wick showed up in the bar to get revenge for his dog's death. 

The bar was filled with bodyguards but John Wick bodied them all... Well, except for one person. 

The filming started and Viggo Mortensen started blasting. They already practiced this action sequence long ago. 

Tae-Won Park was watching in the corner, witnessing how the actors performed their tasks. He was proud to see that they were doing well. Especially Viggo, he looked like a different person. 

"Cut! Adjust the lighting, it's too dark."

Out of nowhere, Kazir stopped the filming after checking his monitors. 

"Let's retake this scene after ten minutes. Your performance is great but we need better lighting so we can record it better."

Viggo Mortensen and the other actors nodded. They were actually in their zones and they felt like they could do it well. They felt like they were true bodyguards working under a Mafia boss. 

Even though there were no gunshots and the punches were fake, they felt like everything was real. It was a unique sensation as if they were sinking into their roles. 

The people responsible for the lighting adjusted the lights. It was a bit troublesome because the setting was a bar and this kind of place was usually dark. 

After that, the shooting restarted and the actors execute their task nicely. 

'It's a good thing that our pacing is running according to the schedule.'

After some grumbling with Animal Organization, the filming didn't meet any trouble. Animal Organization was quite strict and the dogs' working hours, on-set housing, and environmental aspects should be taken regard. 

'Thankfully the dogs have a better attention span than the baby in The Hangover.'

Kazir understood that many dogs would show in John Wick and he need to maintain a good relationship with Animal Organization to avoid useless trouble. 

'Let's take care of it later.',

"Bryan, are you ready?"

"Director, I'm ready since yesterday."

Bryan Cranston smiled humbly. He was excited since the action sequences in this movie were unique and interesting. 

He had a scene where he would fight John Wick in a hand-to-hand combat and it was a dirty fight to the max. Imagining it made him excited. 

His role in this movie was called Kirill. A person working under Viggo Tarasov(Michael Nyqvist), a Russian Mafia boss. He was the strongest person who John Wick fought in this movie. 

They have been filming the bar scene since yesterday and he could not wait to take action. 

"Don't get excited, this is acting."
