The couple and the cat escaped Junian successfully. They met their contact, Yuna Garcia, who was waiting at the location. 

The border between the two countries was in a tough situation. Every soldier guarding the place was prepared for the worst case.

The best way to leave the country was not by going through the border. Yuna's teleportation was the safest way. 

Shoujo Ramune looked at the pink-haired woman. Shoujo and Yuna knew each other because Yuna was her contact. They had a good relationship. 

However, Shoujo Ramune felt like shit watching the pink-haired woman rubbing her body against Calix. To make it worst, Calix didn't stop Yuna! He let her do what she wanted to do. 

'Pervert! A degenerate bastard! How can you flirt with a woman in the middle of the day?'

She was gritting her teeth but held back her emotions. Thankfully, Mera was in her arms to comfort her. 

"Mama!"

Even though Mera is a kitten, Shoujo loved it like it was her child. 

"Mera--! It's me, your Mama Yuna!"

Shoujo was dumbfounded when Yuna snatched the cute kitten from her. Furthermore, Mera was happy to meet Yuna. The cat rubbed his face against her.

Shoujo had a bad mood. She had a very bad mood because her whole week was terrible. Nothing good happened. Well, she survived the ordeal even though it was dangerous. At least that part was real. 

"Hello, Miss Ramune. I can't believe that you're dirty and ugly today... Oh, and you smell awful."

Yuna Garcia clearly mocked her. 

Shoujo Ramune always made sure that her appearance was perfect. It was painful that Yuna kicked her in the most painful way. 

Indeed, Shoujo didn't have a shower these days. She didn't have the time too. Even her nine tails turned brown because of too much dirt. 

Suddenly, she glanced at Calix who was quiet the whole time. 

Calix sensed her gaze. 

"You don't smell bad. I like it."

"I- I didn't ask you!',

Shoujo pouted and blushed. However, she liked what Calix said. It would be devastating if Calix said something hurtful. 

"Heh, Calix you are too good to Miss Ramune. You don't have to lie, we all know that she stinks!" Yuna added fuel to the fire. 

"Shut up bitch!" Shoujo screamed at Yuna. The bitch kept making fun of her. 

"Haha!"

Yuna laughed it off and opened the portal. Their destination was the office of the president. 

The three entered the portal. They didn't want to stay in Junian. Junian was in a civil war after realizing that the Royal Family was hiding the truth about the Demihumans. The atmosphere in the country, even at the border, was bleak. 

Most of the citizens wanted to leave the country because of the upcoming war. However, Junian shut down the whole country and no one could leave. Internet and any means of communication were cut off and everyone was living in nervousness.

The three showed up in the office of the president. Calix and Yuna were already used to this place so they didn't have a reaction. 

But it was different for Shoujo Ramune. The whole office was flooded with documents! Endless documents! It didn't look like an office at all. 

'This is a warehouse of papers.' Shoujo Ramune thought. 

"Hm, looks like you are here. You two, you can leave now. Shoujo, you have to stay and report your mission to me."

"Yes, President Esmeralda Margaret!"

The three saluted. 

Esmeralda started acting cold towards Calix after he kept his mouth shut about Toshi Densetsu. She was still holding a grudge and she treated the man as a normal employee. However, she would call Calix once in a while to satisfy her lust. Overall, her relationship with Calix had a crack. 

Calix and Yuna left the place, with Mera cuddling with Yuna. 

Everyone understand that the current situation was dangerous. There was no time to play around. The future of their country lies in their actions. 

"Shoujo, you can tell me your report. But first, take a shower."

"... Yes."

Shoujo had a blushing red face. She knew that she had to tell everything so that she could leave this place sooner. 

Shoujo was worried about Lou Viola. She wanted to see her face to face to assure her heart.

While Shoujo Ramune was going to take a shower, the woman she was worried about was waiting for someone. 

Lou Viola was standing a few meters away from her house. She was stroking her belly which had a baby bump. She was five months pregnant. 

Right now, she was nervous to see her parents. Just as she was getting sweaty, a portal materialized and Calix showed up. 

Calix was still wearing his uniform and he looked like a professional. 

"Calix! I'm happy to see you!" The woman hugged him happily. 

"Me too." Calix gently caressed her face and kissed her. 

"I'm scared. I don't know how to explain it to my parents."

"Don't worry, we already practiced this so many times."

"O- Okay!"

They decided to go with faking a story. 

Calix already met Lou's parents. He even asked them to make a video for Lou. Her parents knew that Calix had a job and he would go to Junian at that time. 

"We will you that as an excuse to say that we met in Junian and had sex... Then you became pregnant."

"There's no hole in our story but I'm still worried."

"Don't worry, I'm here." Calix intertwined his fingers with hers. 

"Yes." Lou smiled and felt assured.
