The audition continued and this time, it was about Bryan Mills'daughter. 

To be honest, Kazir didn't care about the age aspects of this role. As long as she could act enough, Kazir would hire her into the cast.

"Hello, I'm Scarlett Johansson."

'You got to be kidding me.'

Kazir stopped writing. He looked at the little girl who was going to audition. 

'So this is the client that Salvatore signed. That bastard, when did he do it? We are talking about Miss Black Window. How did Salvatore sign a contract with her? Did I cause a butterfly effect? Probably yes.'

Scarlett Johansson was born in 1984. Which means that she was still 12 years old. However, females were usually taller than their male counterparts at this age. So Scarlett Johansson looked around 14 to 15 years old. She had light blonde hair and tall height, and she looked mischievous.

'I guess I know the reason why Salvatore begged me to keep it PG-13.'

There was a scene where Bryan Mills' daughter had to wear a bikini... Kazir had to adjust some scenes. 

'Since he is Salvatore's client, I have to give her a chance.'

The little girl started the audition. Just like what Salvatore had promised, Scarlett Johansson prepared for the role. She easily passed the audition and the crew was satisfied. 

"Thank you, Miss Johansson. We will notify you later."

The little girl waved her hands before leaving. 

"That's it. The cast is already determined. I want every one of them to sign contracts as soon as possible. We will have a script reading next week."

"This is going to be my job, right?" 

Harold massaged his forehead. This new job was tiring. But he didn't want to disappoint Kazir. The only reason why he agreed on this job was to ease Kazir's work toll. 

"Don't worry. We already signed the troublesome one. I'm sure every one of them will not fight for a bigger salary. After all, we can hire other actors."

"I will try my best."

Harold nodded.

"Don't worry Mister Producer, we will try to make sure that your responsibility will not be heavy."

"Shut up Renner, you are not helping at all!"

The end of 1996 arrived and new year celebration parties were everywhere. 

This time, Kazir received invitations from many people. Mostly from prominent actors who wanted to make connections to him. 

The success of his last movie was astounding. 

This year, the box office champion was Independence Day with $817.40 million. 20th Century Fox got the last laugh this year. Having the most tickets sold worldwide. 

The second was Warner Bros' Twister with $494.47 million worldwide.

The third was The Hangover. The movie generated $469.30 million worldwide. And yes, it was from the Warner Bros too. 

Warner Bros got the second and third highest-grossing movies this year. Combined, the two movies grossed $963.77 million. In a way, Warner Bros won much bigger tickets than 20th Century Fox.

The fourth was Mission: Impossible with $457.69 million. 

Fifth was The Rock starring Nicholas Cage with $335.06 million.

Sixth was Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame. An animation movie with $325 million. 

Seventh was 101 Dalmatians. Another Disney movie with $320 million. 

Eighth place was from Disney again. This time it was Ransom starring Mel Gibson with $309 million. 

Sixth to Eight places were dominated by Disney. Michael Eisner knew how to do business. The three movies were $954 million combined. Furthermore, Disney sold millions of merchandise from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and 101 Dalmatians. They might have more profit compared to 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. 

Ninth place was acquired by Universal Pictures with The Nutty Professor. The movie grossed $273.96 million. 

The tenth place was Sony-Columbia's Jerry Maguire. The movie starred Tom Cruise with $273.55 million.

These were the top ten movies worldwide. Yes, they were all dominated by Hollywood. The Hollywood industry was gradually taking over the world. 

The top ten movies of the year would probably sell at least a million videotapes each. The cost of a videotape was 30 dollars. So each movie could generate $30 million at the least. 

'I didn't have videotape share but I can peek in the statistics of The Hangover. This month, the videotape sales of the movie were 1.6 million copies. 1.1 million copies of normal videotapes and 500 thousand copies of the deluxe edition.'

The non-deluxe videotape of The Hangover cost 29.9 dollars. While the deluxe edition was 59.9 dollars. 

If the calculation was right, the sales of non-deluxe videotapes were $32.89 million. As for the deluxe edition, it was $29.95 million. 

It means that this month, the videotape sales of The Hangover were $62.84 million. This month alone. The videotape sales would keep increasing till the next year. It might even surpass the worldwide box office. Especially because The Hangover was a funny movie. 

'The buying power of Americans is tremendous. They can keep the industry thriving.'

At first, the invention of the VCR player was frowned upon by Hollywood. They thought that they would lose authority over their movies. Yet, they didn't expect that the videotape market would save them instead. Now, film companies had videotape distribution channels just for the purpose of earning more. They signed contracts with Blockbuster and Walmart to sell and rent their movies.

The woman next to Kazir giggled and she hugged his arm. Reese Witherspoon and Kazir Grey decided to attend a party in the new year. 

Out of many people who invited him, Kazir decided to attend Sony-Columbia's new year's party. Despite having differences, the two parties still had an amicable relationship. In fact, Grey Pictures was trying to sign a contract with Sony-Columbia to distribute Taken.
