Hollywood What If Chapter 75

"Your Honor. I'm the one who's innocent here. I never cheated, I was the one who got cheated. Why does my ex-wife entitle to half of my property?"

Kazir Grey was haggard with dark circles around his eyes. He tried to beg the jury but the trial was never on his side. 

"The court system always favors the women because it is what it is." The judge said. 

"Are you being serious? Is this even a proper trial!? How can you say that? This is not how a trial should be done. I demand a proper judgment!"

"Your Honor, I believe Kazir Grey doesn't have the right to speak. He doesn't respect you at all." Cassandra's lawyer tried to stop Kazir from talking. 

"Objection your Honor, my client has the right to speak." Terrence Howard stood up and defended his client. 

"Hm, as the judge of this court. I have to say that Believe All Women Because They Are Always Right. Now, Mister Kazir Grey, you have to give Cassandra Hoecrap half of your savings. And you will give her the house. That's it, case closed."

"..."

Kazir Grey was dumbfounded. 

"This is stupidity! I bet that bitch suck the Judge's cock or something!"

Even Terrence Howard felt like this whole trial was a circus. From the beginning, the judge favored Cassandra. 

The hearing was over and Kazir was left standing and defeated. 

He heard his ex-wife giggling. He turned around and found Cassandra approaching him. 

"Did you see what happened? That's what you deserve for trying to fight back. Oh, by the way, Kazir... We actually had a baby, but I aborted it just to spite you. Fufu, your expression is so cute."

"What did you say? I'M ASKING YOU WHAT DUD YOU SAY!!"

"Fufu, you heard it right. I don't want a child from a weak man like you. See you later, I hope you keep the house clean because I'm going to sell it."

Kazir stared at the woman with deep hatred. He clenched his fists in anger and cursed in the courtroom. He thought the devil was not real, but Cassandra Hoecrap was the definition of evil.

"I can't believe that I reached the point where I can forgive her."

Kazir muttered as he looked out of the window. He was more than 50 years old when he got reincarnated back in 1994. Within that time, Kazir became mature and his hatred about his ex-wife disappeared. What happened back then was nothing but painful memories, and it made him a better man. 

He was still sad about the child that he never saw, but it was already more than 3 decades. He already moved on and accepted the truth. 

He could not prevent it because it was already too late. 

His feelings for Cassandra were nothing. She was nothing but a stranger to him. What happened to her was not his problem. 

"Kazir, we are here."

Salvatore Barlowe notified him and Kazir returned to reality. 

"Let's go."

The two left the car and stepped into the headquarters of Warner Bros. 

On the way to the building, Kazir Grey recognized someone. He actually paused just to make sure that he didn't see it wrong. 

"Hello, Mister Neeson." 

Kazir took the first move and greeted the actor.

"I'm sorry, you are...?"

Liam Neeson didn't expect that someone would approach him and greet him. Based on the man's demeanor, he was a confident guy. However, Liam didn't know him. 

"I'm Kazir Grey. Director of Napoleon Dynamite and The Hangover."

"So you're director Grey. It's nice to meet you."

Liam Neeson knew about Kazir but he never met him. Liam was a man who rarely shows up in public. He was always quiet about his life.

The two had a handshake and smiled at each other. 

Liam Neeson visited Warner Bros because of his movie about Michael Collins. It was a biographical film starring Liam Neeson. It had a budget of 25 million dollars. Yes, it had a smaller budget than The Hangover. Even Liam Neeson's salary never exceeded $3 million. 

After the success of Schindler's List, Liam Neeson received many roles but none of it gave him success. 

Kazir Grey and Liam Neeson talked for a few seconds before Kazir excused himself. 

'Looks like we already met the protagonist.'

Kazir grinned. Liam's age was 44 and it was the right age for Bryan Mills, a former government operative.

'When Taken was first filmed Liam Neeson was already 56. It was hard for him to film the stunts. But it's different this time. It's the best age for Liam Neeson to take the role of a retired agent.'

If Kazir was being honest. He liked the Film Franchise of Taken. 

'If there's an action that I like when I was old, it's probably John Wick but Taken is my number two. Jason Bourne is the third and Fast and Furious is the fourth.'

"Salvatore, I heard that Liam Neeson is a client of CAA."

"That's right. Liam Neeson's agent is Chris Andrews. Why did you ask?"

"Nothing, I'm just happy to hear that. At least the negotiation will not be complicated since Liam and I are both clients of CAA."

"Wait you don't mean..?"

Salvatore Barlowe narrowed his eyes. 

"That's right. Once the project started, I want to invite Liam Neeson as the protagonist."

"... I'll try to contact Chris Andrews."

"Yeah. I don't want to experience what happened with Ed Helms last time. William Morris Agency is really trying to affect my film schedule as much as possible."

If this went on, then Kazir would only choose actors from CAA. At least they won't complicate him.

'I'm giving them roles.'

"Kazir, don't forget your promise. You will cast Enzo and one of my clients in your movie."

"No problem. But they have to audition first. If their appearances and acting don't meet the criteria, I have to reject them."

"I'll talk to them about it."

"Good."

The two entered the elevator.
