The church was filled with people since it was Sunday. In the Philippines, most of its population believes in Christianity.

Spanish colonized us for almost 340 years and they brought us many cultures. Of course, they brought Christianity as well. So most Filipinos were believers of the Catholic church and Born Again Christians.

Of course, because Spaniards colonized us for 300 years, we have Spanish surnames as well.

Just as you expected, my surname was Castillo and it means Castle in Spanish.

Furthermore, because of this colonization, we learned the language as well. Such as mesa(table), seguro(sure), Vivo/Bibo(active), puta, punyeta, and chupa.. ahem. The last three words were a bit of slang, to be honest.

Anyway, here I am praying with my family. Sophia and Roman didn't have much experience attending the church. They followed Penelope and clasped their hands and closed their eyes.

They started praying for toys and delicious food, typical wants of kids.

"Papa Jesus, pwease make my Mommy and Dajjy happy. Pwease." I heard Sophia's cute voice.

You know what? Nevermind. I think my daughter Sophia is the best in the world. She loves us very much! What a blessing for me to have a cute daughter like her.

Then, I opened my ears wide to listen to Roman's prayer.

"..."

I could not hear anything. What do you expect? Roman is typically quiet and he doesn't talk much if you don't ask him. But since he was seriously praying, I guess he was praying in his mind.

As for Penelope, she started thanking the Lord for giving us good and healthy lives. She asked for the Lord's guidance and blessing.

Now, I guess I have to do their act as well.

To be honest, I didn't have a strong fate in any religion. Although I do believe that there's a higher being.

However, after being smashed by a truck and meeting a literal Goddess, I knew that Gods are real.

Perhaps every religion I know is real as well... Even the Flying Spaghetti.

[Dear Lord, I don't know if you're hearing me. I hope you give us a happy life, please make my family healthy and away from any sickness and disease... Can you please give me a sign on what business should I start? You see, Lord, I'm having trouble choosing what business I have to do. Can you please give me some sign--]

Right before I could even finish my prayer, a strong gust of wind flew by. Then, a piece of paper was slapped in my face.

I frowned as I opened my eyes. I grabbed the paper on my face and saw the content of the paper.

ARE YOU HUNGRY? GRAB A BURGER!

"..."

When I read each word, I turned silent. I looked at the altar and I realized that God has given me an answer-- by slapping my face with a piece of paper.

"Thank you, Lord." I smiled sincerely.

I thought these miracle signs and wonders were nothing but a scam but experiencing it myself was mind-blowing.

We left the church after praying and Sophia started fighting over which restaurants should we choose.

There were restaurants near the church, probably because of the good location.

Sophia was having trouble between Jollibee and McDonald's. These two restaurants were the strongest fast-food restaurant in the Philippines. Although Jollibee is still number one.

It's a bit overwhelming to know that in this regard, we were not defeated by foreign companies. Because usually, foreign companies were far better than local companies.

At least Jollibee can fight McDonald's in its own territory.

"What about you Roman? Where do you want to eat?"

Since Sophia was having trouble choosing, I asked my son instead.

"KFC."

"I haven't eaten in KFC yet, I heard the fried chicken is good." My wife joined in.

"Mommy, ywou haven't eaten in KFC? Don't wowwy, I haven't eaten in KFC too!"

I guess it's Kentucky Fried Chicken, huh? Let's go and meet Colonel Sanders!

We entered the restaurant... And it was packed. It was fortunate that Roman found a table for us.

Since I was the father, I was the one who ordered the food.

"You look happy, did something happen?"

My wife asked me while eating a fried chicken leg.

"Hm, I found the business that I want to do."

"Hoh, what is it then?" She raised her brow and looked at me.

"A burger stand!"

At first I thought it was a paper company but I wasn't that stupid, right? It should be a burger, right?

"That's good to hear. You're kinda lost these days" Penelope nodded.

After having a meal, I suddenly heard a notification.

-- Ding!

[Congratulations, another item appeared in the Shop!]

I was stunned and paused.

"Honey? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. My stomach is just adjusting, I ate a lot, eheh." I said as an excuse. However, my mind was curious about what item I received this time.
