A man holding a pistol, wearing a black Battlesuit that covered most of his body, and a mask that hides his identity. 

"You..." Athena was gasping as she touched her bleeding abdomen. She put pressure on the wound to make sure that she would bleed so much. 

Yet, her gaze never left the person before her. 

"Let's leave this place. It's dangerous here."

Calix confirmed that this place was far more dangerous than the area. This section had dozens of DemiGods clashing and their presence would never be enough to stop them. 

'You should be happy that I went here just to save you. If not for me, maybe you're already dead. Athena, I'm worried...'

So Calix understood that the best option was to stay far away from the battle. He was confident facing monsters and TA Users but DemiGods were different breeds. They were the best of the best. 

Calix would not gamble his luck against them. 

"Let's go."

"You, who are you..."

Athena was slowly losing consciousness. Calix's expression was livid as he looked at her. Athena was wounded and weak. 

'If not because of the situation, I will torture this long-haired man.'

He glanced at the dead body. Because he was irritated, he kicked the corpse, showing his anger. He didn't have respect for someone who hurt his property. 

"Wait... You, tell me who you are." Athena was gasping and her face was pale. Her weak hand grabbed his arm.

"We don't have the time for that. Let's leave."

Calix carried her with his strong arms. Then, his feet stop in front of Sana. 

"Are you...?"

"There's a healer somewhere in this place. If he is still alive, he can save Athena." 

Sana didn't know this man but she witnessed how he protected Athena. So she believed that he was not a bad guy.

'With my Term Attribute, I saw that this guy saved Athena. He is the only one who can keep her alive. I will trust my Term Attribute this time.'

She didn't have a choice.  

"Thanks. Oh, good luck facing your nephew." Calix muttered and left Sana.

Calix was surprised that his Grandaunt was actually alive. However, he didn't have the time to talk to her. His priority was to save Athena. 

"I'm sorry what? Do I know you or something?"

Sana was confused.

However, the answer came up a few seconds later. 

"Aunt, I didn't expect to see you here."

There was a deep voice from behind her and Sana quickly turned around. She was shocked to see a tall guy with buff muscle. 

"And who the fuck are you?" 

Things were getting complicated, almost as if these two men knew her. 

"I'm sorry but I'm too old to have a nephew. Although my sister has a son and he's already in his mid-forties now... Unless..."

Sana almost jumped in surprise when she realized something unbelievable. She had a nephew but she didn't meet him in almost two decades. 

"Berto!? What are you doing here?"

"I should be the one asking that, Auntie."

"This, this..."

The plot was moving too fast that Sana was stuttering. 

"What is going on?"

"This is not the right to ask that. Quick, we have to leave."

It was a surprising event, but for Berto, it was a happy event. He found his aunt at last. His mother would probably be happy once she found out. 

But of course, they have to make sure that they could survive this place first. After all, this encounter was fruitless if they both died. 

"Hey! What are you doing!?"

Berto didn't listen to her, he carried her and ran away from the clash of the DemiGods. The enemies that tried to block him all died and turned to ashes. 

'I don't have to worry about that guy, he is strong enough. As long as he didn't meet a DemiGod, he will live.'

Their first plan was to help the Triad fight the DemiGods. However, when they got there, the two realized how fierce the battle was. It was impossible to join at all. 

So Calix decided to locate Athena and protect her. As for Berto, he didn't expect to meet Sana but he had to make sure that she would be safe. 

"Huh? Strange, why did I feel Joe's power?"

Medu frowned. She sensed the power of Fate lingering around. 

In her entire life, only a few people could control that Godly ability. 

'Sana that I coincidentally met is one of them. Her Term Attribute can hack Fate to find the answer. But I can't believe that I meet another one.'

Meda scanned the battle but she failed to locate the person. Perhaps he already ran away. 

"Joe is the only one who mastered the ability but..."

"Is there something wrong in your head? Don't underestimate me! You newbie!"

The DemiGod from the Empire who could summon the volcano roared at Medu. He could not believe that the blindfolded woman was not looking at him at all. 

"Who's a newbie? For your information, I'm older than you!"

"Then I call you old hag!"

"What did you say? You deserve death for not recognizing Mount Tai!"

"No, you're the one blind for not recognizing Mount Tai! You're even wearing a blindfold, how the fuck can you move around!?"

"Echolocation."

"Bullshit!"

"Humph! If I want to, I can kill every one of you here!"

Medu dodged the molten rocks that rain down. One touch and she would be melted to death. 

"Then why don't you do it then?"

"I'm just waiting for the right moment. I can't let my teammates get caught in the aftermath."

"How arrogant!"

"Oh, believe me, I'm not lying."

Medu grinned and easily dodged the attacks. She indeed used echolocation to evade every attack from the enemies. Except for Ivy Naomi who had the power of telekinesis, Medu had the least damage taken from the enemies. 

She was experienced. In her opinion, fighting the Demon King and his powerful Aberrants was more dangerous than this battle. 

"Come on, make me entertained!"
