[I apologize if I can't post for two days. There are instances when I can't post two or three chapters, and there are instances when I can't post at all. I caught a cold two days ago. To be honest, I'm already slightly better yesterday but I decided to rest on my bed than spend my time looking at the digital screen, kinda hard to read when you're groggy actually. Anyway, I'm all good now.]

"What should we do?"

In a private room, two people were calmly sipping wine as they sat and had a mild conversation. 

"We have to wait for the next order. We both know that we are not the only ones who attended this banquet." A man who was wearing a suit and a demon mask muttered.

The two were speaking in low voices, to make sure that no one would heat them. 

"Ancas, Carillo, Dellia, Desmonda, and Junian... I heard that the empire attended the banquet too." The woman who was wearing a green dress, she had a mask of rabbit. 

"This gathering is not simple. The Triad announced their new member and it might affect our plan." 

These two people were from the military country of Ancas. And yes, they were DemiGods. 

The Triad was a powerful organization but there was one thing that Ancas was seriously thinking of. The Triad's leader was Ivy Naomi Higashikata, she was known as one of the strongest DemiGods living on the surface of the planet. 

Even these two DemiGods from Ancas were not confident in killing her with just the two of them.

DemiGods were beings who overcome the Tribulation and acquired the ability to hold the laws of the earth. Furthermore, they escaped the curse of Backlash and they could freely use their abilities.

However, even DemiGods had level. Someone like Esmeralda, Principal Lycan, and Ivy Naomi were different breeds. Their Term Attributes were so powerful that they could kill normal DemiGods. This was one of the reasons why they were feared. 

Their existence alone could affect the future of a country. 

"At least you're with me, King of Barrier. The strongest defense of Ancas." The woman giggled and sipped her wine. 

"Don't be careless. We are inside the enemies' den, and there are dangerous people from other countries."

"I know." The woman shrugged. 

The woman with the green dress was just a new DemiGod. She became one 16 years ago. In a way, she was a junior. 

Mortals had short lifespans unless they were descendants of Demihumans. Such as Sana, her Elven blood was so strong that she looked young even though she was already 60 years old. She clearly had a long lifespan. But DemiGods were different, they had longer lifespans because their physical bodies already overcome the Tribulation and evolved. 

Right after they realized that another DemiGod joined the Triad, the two DemiGods from Ancas immediately contacted their government. 

Junian had blocked any ways of overseas communication using text messages and the internet. If the message came from the neighboring countries, then the government of Junian would intercept and delete it. 

However, there were other ways to communicate with Ancas without using the internet and text messages. 

Right in front of them was a small A1 paper. This paper was created by Rune Technology. This A1 paper had a pair in Ancas. If they wrote something on this A1 paper, then it would show on the other A1 paper. 

They already wrote the important information and Ancas surely read them. 

If they were right, Ancas was definitely talking to the other countries right now. They were having a talk about the next step. 

A few minutes later, letters started appearing on the A1 paper. This meant that Ancas has contacted them. 

The man and woman read the message and their expressions slowly darkened. It seemed that this banquet would be bloody.

-- Kill the Triad, we already contacted Desmonda, Carillo, and the Empire of Xummolu. Their sides will help us to kill them.

"Looks like we don't have a choice." The man sighed and accepted the order. 

Four countries showed their hostility against the Triad.

The two people stood up. The woman drank all of the wine, perhaps to make her braver. 

The two glanced at each other, they understood that they need to work together to finish the mission. 

They left the room and found that the party was still ongoing. 

With a cold glint in their eyes, the man cast his Term Attribute and created a barrier.

Bruce cast a barrier and made sure to block the whole mansion. He could control the barrier to be intangible and tangible. 

The barrier completely blocked the whole mansion without a problem. When the attendees realized that something was wrong, it was already too late. 

They made sure that no one could escape, this banquet would be a bloodbath. 

Then, the woman stepped forward and purple vines started sprouting from the ground. 

The vines released toxic gas and slowly enveloped the party.

"W- what is happening?"

"Gaah--! Poison! Poison!"

The attendees realized that they were getting attacked. The poison gas melted their clothes and skin. Even inhaling the gas destroyed their lungs. They started coughing blood as their skins melted. 

They started casting their abilities to fend off the vines. However, the vines were faster and pierced their bodies, causing more injuries that easily melted their bodies. 

Only people with strong physical constitutions could defend against this kind of attack. 

Fortunately, most of the attendees were criminals and they know how to adapt. Without any hesitation, they started running away and putting distance. 

Some who had shrunken Battlesuits started equipping them. 

"Eliminate everyone." The woman said.

On the other side of the mansion, Calix and Shoujo heard the communication. 

Suddenly, a huge explosion happened and the walls around them trembled. 

"Looks like we know their answers. The other countries made their move." 

As an experienced spy, Shoujo realized that the other countries decided to kill the Triad. They deemed the Triad dangerous and must be eliminated. 

"Our job is done here. We have to leave," Shoujo turned to Calix who was seriously looking at the place where the Triad went to. 

"Hey, did you hear what I said?" 

"..."

Calix didn't answer. This battle would be a clash of DemiGods and someone like him was unnecessary. He understood it very well. 

However, he was worried about something. 

"Athena..."

The maid became an assistant of Medu, the new DemiGod of the Triad. 

If the battle really happened and the Triad lost, then Athena would be in danger.
