But seeing Calix's reaction, Lou realized that the kitten was harmless. Furthermore, she could not help but smile whenever she looked at it, her heart was melting. 

On top of that, the kitten was calling Calix Papa!

"Papa, thank you for the food. I love them so much!"

The calico cat pawed Calix's fingers to show his appreciation. 

"You don't have to worry, I will order again later."

His fingers rubbed the cat's neck and Mera purred happily. 

"Haaamm... Papa, I want to sleep again."

After eating a hearty meal, Mera wanted to rest. He found a nice spot on the sofa and curled himself in. 

It was already two days ago when the Aberrants struck Horvart University. There was a bit of chaos but people quickly adapted. After all, this was not the first time that this happened. 

Being attacked by flying monsters was the norm, perhaps only Dellia was living with the privilege of being safe. 

"Are you hungry Lou? I can cook for you?"

He glanced at the woman. Lou was wearing a thin nightgown, almost transparent and her bottle-shaped silhouette was clear to be seen. Calix hid his swallowing. 

"Me? I'm fine. We ate a lot last night."

She blushed and averted her gaze. She was still not used to Calix. She could not help but be shy in front of him.

Despite sharing a passionate love, where their bodies almost melt into one, where their bodily fluids mixed, it seemed that Lou was still embarrassed. Especially when she recalled what she did last night.

First, he checked the available ingredients so that he could decide what dish he had to make.

However, as Calix scanned the whole kitchen, he realized something disturbing. 

He opened the fridge, and sure enough...

"Lou?"

"Yes?"

Lou approached him after she calmed herself enough to face him. 

"Don't you have any food except noddles?"

His voice trembled. He looked straight into her eyes and Lou immediately realized something embarrassing. 

Her whole cabinet was filled with nothing but noddles. Instant noddles, cup noddles, ramen noodles! Noddles everywhere. 

Just like what people say, noddles can save a college student's allowance. 

"I- It's not what you're thinking! O- Of course, I eat other food too. It's just noodles are too cheap and they can fill my stomach... Calix? What are you doing?"

She paused when realized that Calix was downcast.

He sighed. Now, he realized that the woman in front of him had eaten tons of noodles every day just to make-do. Living a life in this University was harder than he thought. 

Calix pulled Lou into his embrace and hugged her tightly.

The woman was dumbfounded, she tried to push him away but Calix was strong. Her legs felt jelly as she heard his beating hard. 

"Promise me that you will never eat this unhealthy food again.   If you want to eat noodles, I know a nice ramen shop. I can take you there."

His voice was gentle and caring but Lou could feel the sadness. 

She closed her eyes. As if she had a choice to disagree. She could not endure even a second of seeing him sad. 

"I will. I promise I will never eat unhealthy food again, I will eat a proper diet."

"That's good."

He released her and kissed her forehead. Then, a teasing smile appeared on his face. 

"I guess I know the reason why you gain weight."

"!!!"

Shock.

Surprised. 

Lou could not believe that Calix would say something heavy as that! 

"W- what are you saying!? I'm not fat!"

She quickly defend herself. 

"Of course, I said you gained weight, I never said your fat. Besides, your ass became much fluffier."

"Calix!"

Calix caught her waist and pulled her closer.
