It was really embarrassing to be princess-carried out of the hospital. Especially when singles were looking at them with deep hatred and jealousy. 

Lou hid her face in Calix's chest as she was ashamed to look at the people. However, it didn't change the fact that she was happy being carried like this. She felt special and protected. 

She did not sense any unbalance, Calix carried her well and made sure that she was comfortable. She was smiling like a child but no one could see it because she was hiding her face. 

"Hehe."

Still, she could not hide her giggle. She could not help it, she felt her heart fluttering. It feels good to be in love. 

The people heard her giggle and their faces turned sour. 

Jealous!

We almost died last night!

No! We want a boyfriend/girlfriend. 

They gritted their teeth and promised that they would have a partner after this. It was scary to die alone. Horvart University was full of students and these students were away from their parents. They only have their friends and partners.

Anyway, Calix and Lou didn't bother thinking about the surrounding. 

Calix was just seriously walking and making sure that Lou was fine. Right now, he was not thinking about squeezing her ass. He just wanted to take Lou somewhere to rest. 

"Um, Calix? Why is there a kitten sleeping on your shoulder?"

Now that Lou realized it, she was confused about why there was a small cat. However, her eyes were shining when she found that the cat was actually cute!

"His name is Mera. I met him last time and I decided to adopt him."

Calix didn't add that Mera came from an egg and he could talk and he could retract his wings. 

'It's a good thing that he can hide his wings, or else it will be troublesome.'

He recalled that Mera could expand his wings too. It was the reason why Calix landed safely. It seemed that Mera could retract and extend his wings.

Lou became quiet. She thought Mera was an abandoned kitten. Maybe his mother was killed by the Aberrants last night and the poor cat was adopted by Calix. 

Lou felt bad for the kitten and decided to take care of it together with Calix.

"Lou? Are you okay? Your face is red."

Calix was worried when he realized that Lou was turning red. He fastened his walking to find a hotel to rest in. Now that he thought of it, he was mad at the nurse for kicking them out. It looked like Lou was still weak. 

"N- no! I- I'm fine!"

Lou stuttered as she realized that she was showing something embarrassing. She blushed because the idea of parenting entered her mind. She felt that starting a family with Calix was not bad. She knew that Calix would be a great father and husband.

'He is thoughtful, protective, strong, capable, and most of all he has a big...'

She could not continue. She was becoming a bad girl.

Calix was getting worried while Lou was having perverted scenes in her mind. She was guilty and didn't know what to do. Maybe starting a family and having a child was not accepted nowadays. Society wanted a productive individual, not a healthy family. 

"There's a hotel next to this hospital, do you want to rest there?"

"Um... Actually," Lou averted her gaze and her face was red. "My apartment is just a few blocks away...."

There was a hidden message under that hesitation but Calix was too worried to think of it. 

He just nodded. He believed that Lou wanted to rest in her own place so that she could rest calmly and comfortably. 

"Yes, let's do that."

"Y- yes!"

Lou hiccuped when Calix easily agreed. She thought Calix was thinking what she was thinking. This was the second stage of her life that she thought of something naughty about Calix. 

They grabbed a taxi. The taxi was actually stealing glances at them because Calix carefully put Lou inside the car after carrying her. As for Lou, she was already in heaven after experiencing great care. Her lips were curling and she could not help being happy. 

"Lou, can I know your address?"

"Y- Yes!"

Lou was startled when Calix asked her about her address. She thought Calix wanted to know it because he wanted to take a visit so that he could do something ecchi to her...

"The taxi driver is asking for your address."

"Y- yes!"

Unfortunately, reality immediately slapped her with the truth. Calix asked for her address because the taxi driver needed it. 

Then, she became further ashamed of herself and her face was already red as a tomato. Misunderstanding, after misunderstanding...

"I will order food too while we're on the way, so that we have something to eat once we're there."

"Yes."

Lou was like a koi fish nodding her head. Well, she would definitely be an adorable koi fish if she was one.

However, deep inside, this was her first time experiencing affection from the opposite gender and it was making her fall in love more. It would be a lie and she said that she didn't want to experience it again.
