Realizing that Lou's shift was going to end, Calix decided to wait for her outside. He paid for his meal and didn't bother her anymore. He could see that Lou was busy and he didn't want to make her nervous.
"Here's your receipt sir."
Lou smiled at the customers before turning around. Her gaze went to Lucky's table but she realized that Lucky was already gone.
"..."
For some unknown reason, her heart felt heavy when she found that Lucky left. She didn't know why but she regretted it.
Of course, she was conscious that Lucky was staring at her the whole time but she did not hate it. In fact, she wanted Lucky to watch her more. That's why she was doing her best at her job.
'Lou what are you thinking? Of course Lucky doesn't have feelings for you. You already know that you're just an average woman, not a head-turner.'
Living in the University and seeing beautiful women every day, Lou understood that she was not in that category. Especially when she was a close friend of the famous actress Shoujo Ramune. She knew her standing and she already accepted it.
Still, it was quite hurtful to be honest. She hoped that at least Lucky would only look at her.
'... This is stupid.'
She sighed and realized that she was making assumptions. She felt bad for herself.
Glancing at the clock, she realized that her shift was going to end. She shook her head and decided to focus on her job.
She greeted another customer that came into the restaurant with a blooming smile, hiding her disappointment.
.........
......
...
Lou came out of the restaurant after bidding farewell to the manager. It was already 2 am and it was cold.
She was wearing a grey cardigan over her shirt and she was wearing jeans. She looked around, hoping that something would happen.
In the end, she realized that no one was waiting for her. She smiled bitterly and laughed at herself.
She had to finish her study instead of falling in love. Or else, her parents who were proud of her would be devastated once they found that she was disregarding her education. She had strict parents.
"!!"
However, on the way to the road, her eyes stared at the person standing in the dark alleyway.
The man was tall and he had a nice build. His posture showed his confidence as a male and Lou subconsciously gulped.
"Lou Viola, come here."
It was weak but Lou clearly heard what he said. She shuddered and looked around. Did she feel cold because of the wind or because of another reason, only Lou knew the answer.
She narrowed her eyes, holding her emotions.
"Who are you?"
Her heart was starting to beat faster.
"I'm the one you're looking for. Take my hand, I will answer your question."
The man extended his hand.
Lou stared at it. The man's hand was filled with callouses. Lou wanted to feel his calloused palm grazing on her skin. The man's hands were enough to show his masculinity.
"I..."
She stammered. She felt that she was making a deal with the devil.
Her decision might cost her her life and she understood that there was no turning back.
The devil in the dark alley was waiting for her answer and patiently extending his hand.
One wrong choice and everything would fall apart.
Still, Lou understood that she would regret it if she didn't take his hand. She felt that she would lose something special.
She took a deep breath and approached the man. Her hand was trembling as she put it on the man's hand.
The man chuckled and whispered in her ear.
"You made the right choice."
"!!"
She swallowed her groan when she realized that the man pushed her to the wall. Her back scraped against the wall and she almost had a heart attack.
"Y- you--"
"Hush. You don't have to say anything, you just have to trust me."
The man sweetly said and Lou easily relaxed her body. She felt safe next to him.
Calix could see that Lou was like an innocent kitten that didn't know the rules of the world.
His fingers run through her hair and fixed her bangs.
"You're beautiful."
A simple compliment, but something that Lou would forever treasure. She could feel the sincerity and she realized that this man had strong feelings for her.
She raised her head and her pupils trembled when she recognized his face.
The man was covered in bangs, but in this close distance, Lou could clearly see his facial appearance.
"Calix..."
She breathed. She was surprised.
Lou felt that she was dreaming. However, the heat of the man close to her was making her sweaty.
"W- what are you doing here!?"
She didn't know what was happening.
"You--"
She wanted to say something but Calix's finger blocked her lips.
"Let's talk later and I will tell you... Did you miss me?"
Calix was curious. He leaned closer to her neck and his breath scalded her skin.
"Yes. I miss you so much."
Lou didn't lie. Her mind was currently having a problem and she honestly said her feelings.
"Really?"
Lou's vision blurred and tears conquered her. She released all of her frustration.
"I do. I always think of you every day... I regretted the fact that I didn't talk to you before I left. I regretted that I didn't see you for the last time. Hick, hick, I heard that you are caught in a terrorist act and you suffered. At that time, I want to return and embrace you... Sniff, but something stopped me."
She began sobbing and her expression looked pitiful. She was heartbroken.
"I realized that you already have a girlfriend and it's wrong for me to have feelings for you! Waaaaahhh!"
There you have it.
This was Lou's response. She was crying and wiping the tears that were coming out.
She felt bad. She felt like a bitch that was trying to destroy their relationship.
"What happened last time was a mistake. I was curious and horny..."
She shouldn't have asked Calix to take her virginity.
"No, it's not your fault."
Calix wiped her tears with her thumb and consoled the weeping woman.
Then, he comforted her with a sweet gentle kiss. Something that he wanted to do since the first time he met her in this place.
