It was already night yet the city-like University was still lively. The lights shimmered all around and the festive noises from the young people could be seen and heard.

Calix was invited to a nightclub by his friends. Three days and the week-long holiday season would arrive and the students had a long time to play around.

"Woohoo! Dance dance baby!"

"Yeah! Do the nea nea!"

"Teach me how to dawg!!"

The students were dancing on the dance floor. The music was funky and the place was dimly lit by the disco ball. Only the silhouettes could be discerned in the dark. 

To be honest, Calix didn't want to join but his friends kept nagging him to have fun. 

'I'm cool with Arcades and other recreational stuff, but night club is not for me.'

This place was temptation-filled and he could clearly see beautiful women having fun.

'Not that I have the intention of flirting with them, but still, staying in this place can bring me problems instead of fun.'

If you are not single, get the fuck out of night club. Simple as that. This place had alcohol, drugs, and other things that might disturb your thinking. One wrong move, and bam, you would realize that your life was over. 

Calix watched as his friends were having fun with the other students. He could even see Quandale Dingle shooting his shots at the girl on the dance floor. Quandale was doing his best dancing even though he looked like a frog having a stroke. 

Knowing that they were busy and they won't bother him, Calix decided to go outside and take a breath of fresh air. 

Horvart University accepted this kind of business even though it was shady. Still, the location of this nightclub was far from the commercial spots so it wasn't notable. 

He walked a few meters and found an open restaurant. He looked like a depressed incel while walking, his appearance was quite deceiving. 

"Hm."

His eyes trembled when he found that Lou was smiling and serving the customers. Calix was dumbfounded and he didn't know what to do.

He clenched his fists when he realized that Lou was working a part-time job.

'Does the money I send not enough?'

He asked himself. His chest was heavy as he realized that the woman was working a tiring job, taking a night shift. 

He was mad. He was angry at himself. He could not believe that he only found this right now. 

He felt that he was nothing but an asshole. How could he do this to Lou? The woman was working in the middle of the night, close to a dangerous place like a nightclub. 

'I know that it's not my place to help her, but I want to do it. I want to take responsibility and help her. Is it bad if I'm acting like a simp? For me seeing her smile is already enough.'

He took a step and approached Lou who was greeting the customers. 

"Have a great night-- Hm? Lucky what are you doing here?"

Lou was surprised. She had a few conversations with Lucky and she was already convinced that Lucky was not Calix. In this case, Calix was good at keeping his secret. 

"Nothing, I was just passing by when I saw you. So you're a waiter here?"

"Yes. I have to make money on my own while taking college."

"... That's admirable. Don't you have someone who gives you allowance or something?"

"Excuse me?"

Lou tilted her head. 

"No, never mind... I want to order something. What do you have here?"

Lou happily passed him the menu and Calix found a seat. 

"I want hash browns, tacos, and sparkling water."

He was trying to act normal. 

"I'll be right there."

Calix was disappointed in himself. He could not believe that his woman was actually working and pushing herself. 

He closed his eyes and calmed his frustration. Is it bad that he was affected by Lou? 

After a few minutes, Lou showed up and served him nice cooked hash browns and tacos. 

"Thank you."

He nodded and began eating. His college life was simple and sometimes he was getting bored. Compared to the thrill of working in the military, being a college student was better yet boring in his opinion. 

'I'm already banned in every Arcade in the University. I can't help it, no matter how much I try to lose, I always win.'

Right now he was on Soccer betting and he used the money he earned on nothing but going to luxurious places. 

"I joined a gym too."

After finishing the meal, Calix decided to watch Lou doing her job. He decided to face the woman after this.

Lou could see that Lucky was watching intently and she felt weird. Instead of being nervous and afraid, she felt that her tummy was getting hot. The fact that Lucky was staring at her as if she was naked made her excited. 

'Lou, what is wrong with you?'

She asked herself. She was trying her best to act cool. She greeted and served every customer. She was good at her considering that she was once a maid. 

Still, she was a bit out of mind knowing that a man was staring at her seriously. 

'Why is he doing this? Did I do something that caught his attention?'

She had a few conversations with Lucky and she knew that the guy was a nice person. Yet now, she could feel that Lucky was ready to devour her... And it was making her wet. 

She was hiding her squirming while doing her job. But she understood that her underwear was already soaked. 

She felt bad and embarrassed. She thought that she was being dirty. Well, it was hard to disregard a man who was like a beast ready to attack his prey. 

Calix was slowly sipping his sparkling water so that he had an excuse to stay longer. 

Lou could not take it anymore and approached Calix. 

"Um, Lucky, I think you have to go now."

She said while rubbing her thighs. 

"Why is that?"

"There are customers that will use this table."

"Then give me your most expensive dish here. I'm hungry and I want to eat more."

"... Okay."

Lou nodded while biting her lip, and God damn it was so sexy seeing her aggravated.
