Calix heard that the people of this country had a few loose screws in their heads, but he did not expect something fucked up like that. 

'I never heard a pick-up line like that, the woman even agreed. I'm in the city close to their capital. Man, I'm wondering what stupidity will I meet in this place.'

If this city had crackheads, then the capital was probably much worst. 

"Hey, you have to wipe your shirt. Here's a tissue."

"Thanks."

He thanked the bartender as he wiped the alcohol that landed on his shirt. 

Calix's appearance right now looked simple and neat, except for the bangs that covered his eyes. 

"Say, do you know someone who has a blood of Dark Elf in this place?"

Since Calix did not have a clue, he decided to gamble and asked the bartender. 

"Dark Elf? Do you mean descendants? Man, if you are a reporter or something, all I can say is that pure Dark Elves are already extinct long ago. It's all in the past, no matter how much you blame the kingdom and the royalties, you can never bring back the past."

"... Okay?"

Calix was dumbfounded as he listened to the bartender's monologue. From his reaction, it seemed that this was not the first time that someone asked about the Dark Elves. 

"So, what do you want this time? Reporter...?"

"Lucky, you can call me Lucky. And I'm not a reporter. I'm just looking for someone."

Calix ordered another gin and gulped it down, he sighed after. 

"Do you have a picture?"

"Unfortunately, no. I only know that she is a woman and a Dark Elf."

"Come on, let's not joke once here. There are no Dark Elves."

'There is, I fucked one last time.'

Calix replied in his head. Esmeralda's true identity was a Dark High-Elf who controls the Darkness. 

"Well, if you are looking for descendants of Elves, I know a lot. Hehe, in fact you are looking at one."

The bartender laughed and pointed at himself. 

"You don't look like one."

Calix looked at him. He nodded and answered. 

"Yeah, a lot of people said that. I didn't inherit any of their characteristics, sadly."

He scratched his head. 

Having the traits of an Elf means a lot in this country. Elf-lings were highly respected in this place. 

"Where can I find them?"

Calix pulled out an inch stack of cash and slowly pushed it to the bartender. 

The bartender laughed at his actions. 

"What are you a kidnapper or something? Everyone knows where they live, you can just ask someone and they will tell it to you."

"Thanks."

He casually stood up and walked away. His mission was to find the Elf-lings and asked them if they know Toshi Densetsu. 

'A Dark Elf who is a few hundred years old... That's kinda specific.'

"Hey?"

Before he left, the bartender glanced at him. 

"You're not a spy, aren't you?"

"No."

Calix answered and left the bar.

'... That bartender, he is strong.'

Calix could feel the heavy aura from him. He intentionally talked to him knowing the danger.

'A strong person like probably knows a lot.'

Just as he expected, the bartender kept his cool and answered his questions.

"That kid... His eyes are just like Clara's."

The bartender, Berto Alb, looked at the young man for the last time.

In this dim-lit bar, the man's green eyes were shining well despite being covered by his bangs. 

"Well, Clara has deep green eyes unlike him."

In their family, only Clara had green eyes. Their lineage was from Elves who had green eyes so Clara's eyes were kind of a miracle. 

"That sister of mine."

He sighed. The last time he saw her was around twenty years ago. She introduced her husband and son... And of course the whole family was shocked. 

"Dad almost kill her husband."

He chuckled, then his face turned melancholic. Because he knew that he would never see her again. His sister died in an accident.

"I wonder what her son is doing right now?"

After doing research, Calix found that there were a lot of families who were from the lineage of Elves.

"Junian was the kingdom of Elves so it's expected."

Calix heard hearsay that humans procreate with Elves and other Demihumans so that they can inherit their abilities. 

"I don't know, the history about this stuff is a bit cloudy and no one can prove the authenticity of this rumor."

Anyway, Calix just spent his first day in this strange country and he was tired. 

He looked at his passport. 

"Lucky T. Tiko, from Carrillo. I'm a transfer student of Horvart University..."

Reading his background, Calix realized that there was a chance that he would meet Lou. 

"Carrillo shared a border with Junian, their relationship is amiable and their economy is strongly dependable to each other."

There was a prosperous sea in their eastern part and the two countries were working on keeping their territory from Desmonda, which was the enemy of both countries. 

"They have their fair share of stories."

Territorial disputes were common so Calix was not surprised. Even his country was fighting against Ancas and Junian right now because of that. Every country wants more territory. They could expand their position and authority, and their resources would increase. 

"My job is to find Toshi Densetsu so I have to lay low..."

Calix lay down on the bed and closed his eyes. He has job to do and looking through the information he gathered, it would be troublesome to find this not-so-young Dark Elf. 

However, before he could fall asleep, his phone started vibrating. 

"Hm?"

Calix checked his phone and realized that Scarlett sent a message. 

[Send me a picture of your room.]

A single sentence, but Calix could imagine how she said it-- like an Empress ordering her servant. 

Calix sighed. It seemed that his night would not end early. 

He took a picture and sent it to Scarlett. 

Just as he expected, a portal materialized and Yuna, Scarlett, Kimberly, Marianne, and Nikki showed up together. They were blushing shyly but it could not erase the lust in their eyes. 

'Is six-some a proper world?'
