A piece of shocking news!

"Hey did you know? The Junian was actually the one that orchestrated the terrorist attack back then that hi-jacked a Flying Ship!?"

"Really?"

People were gossiping. This information was quite heavy and everyone was interested. 

"I'm sorry joking, the government found proof and they are currently asking for Junian's explanation!"

"Wow, I know that something is not right back then."

The citizens recalled that time when the hijacked flying ship was flying over the Capitolium. It was a big talk around the town and everyone was curious about the identities of the terrorists. Now they found out that Junian sabotaged their country. 

As a citizen of Dellia, it was obvious that every one of them was appalled and disgusted by the Junian's despicable moves. They were angry and wanted to take revenge. 

"Hmmph!! I know that those bastards are just waiting to attack! They ask for a treaty yet they are doing it behind our back!"

An old retired man joined the discussion. He was one of the soldiers who fought in the two-way war three decades ago. He believed that the grudge between the countries would not ease even if time passed. After all, millions of lives were shed at that time and the three countries were not completely reconciled. 

Now that they confirmed the truth, Dellia was seething in anger and wanted to hear an explanation from the other party. Of course, Junian denied the allegations. 

"If there's another war, I will join again. I'm old and I want to die on the battlefield!"

The old man said and the others respected. Someone who could sacrifice his life for the country was a respectable man. 

"Not only that!"

"What else?"

The gossip continued. 

"I heard that they are responsible for stealing our Fragment and the terrorists that attacked the inauguration were actually from Junian too!"

"Seriously?"

Now that was shocking but kinda expected. 

"This is just a rumor unlike the hijacked flying ship, but I think it's true. The government is trying to contact Junian about too."

"Hmmph! I bet they want to deny those allegations too!"

They were right about it. Junian denied it and condemned Dellia for pushing sins into them. 

Yet, Dellia was adamant and they have multiple proofs that Junian planted spies in their country and these spies caused the terrorist acts. Most of the proofs were real because Junian was indeed spying on Dellia. 

Even if Junian tried to say no, Dellia would push the blame on them. For the sole purpose of war, Dellia was ready to create a lie. They used the hatred of the citizens and blame all of the sins to Junian. It was a move that only the people from the top could do.

"Those despicable Junians! They are still savage just like in the past!"

History stated that the mortals betrayed the Kingdom of Elves, Hulian, in the middle of the battle against the Aberrants from the Forest of Death. 

The strong warriors of the kingdom were fighting the Aberrants so their defense was weak and mortals with superpowers easily subdued them. The kingdom fell since then and the Demihumans were treated as slaves. 

Hundreds of years already passed but it was impossible to forget something like that. 

"If this continues... There is going to be a war and millions of people will die."

Despite the aggression towards Junian, some citizens understood the consequences if they go to war.

Death was something that everyone was afraid of. 

"We have to stop this! We have to start a rally!"

Some organizations did not want war. Even politicians tried to talk to the President to reconcile instead. 

Unfortunately, Esmeralda would never listen. Besides, Dellia was affected by the terrorists and it was impossible to disregard it. 

If Junian tried to deny their 'crimes' then Dellia have to 'reason'.

"Esmeralda! This is wrong!"

The Senate Leader, Tito Sotsot faced Esmeralda. This was an important meeting and almost a hundred important leaders attended this meeting. The future of their country rests on their decision. 

There were two factions. 

The no-war faction, led by Senate Leader Tito Sotsot.

The yes-war faction was led by President Esmeralda Margaret. 

As for the neutral faction, they were just keeping their mouth shut. Although it was obvious that they did not want to go to war. 

'Nobody wants to go to war. The war three decades ago is something that we don't want to rekindle.'

Senator Juliano Francine was massaging his forehead. His stance was firm-- war would bring destruction between the two countries. 

"It's either war or compensation."

Esmeralda said with firm. She was hoping for the former. 

"And what compensation do you want?"

Senator Tito Sotsot asked. 

"The Canon. I want the blueprint of that technology."

"... Are you serious?"

A commotion started erupting as the higher-ups talked to themselves. Some of them were dumbfounded but most were excited. 

"I'm not joking. Oh, and I want to see their King apologize publicly."

"Well, that seems hard but I guess that's better than war."

They were actually relieved when they heard Esmeralda's option. At least she was not that adamant to start a war. 

"Send that message to Junian... But I want to make things clear, if they don't apologize and give compensation for their filthy acts, I will send my troops and bombard their capital."

"... We will do our best."

Senator Tito Sotsot sighed. It seemed that they do not have a choice. 

The meeting ended and they immediately contacted their prime minister in Junian to talk. 

This plan would not that end quickly since Junian had to thoroughly think about it. Based on their calculation, Junian would have an answer and the end of the year. Everything lies in their decision. 

Both sides have a strong military and they have DemiGods as their guardians. If everything went according to plan, the answer to their questions would be found.

An airport security officer glanced at the man in front of him. This man was wearing a blue shirt and jeans. Quite casual and relaxed. 

His face was quite long, almost blocking his eyes with his bangs. 

"Yes, I'm here to visit some nice place."

He smiled amiably.
