Just as he regained his vision, he realized that black spears stabbed his abdomen.

Esmeralda sighed. She wanted to show the citizens how powerful she is. She specifically made the barrier transparent so that they could watch live from their seats. 

Esmeralda looked around and realized that the two sides were on equal standings. 

'Scarlett and Marianne may be strong but the enemies consist of talented followers from the Council. It will not be easy to eliminate all of them.'
