"Googoo gaga!"

A sweet little baby girl was curling her cute fingers as she reached for her mother. 

Esmeralda was rocking her child in her arms as she began a story. 

"Once upon a time, a Demon King showed up and killed millions of people. His power was frightening and everyone thought that they were all going to die."

... Esmeralda was not good at telling stories. This was an ancient story that she heard from her mother.

"But hope arises from the people and a Hero appeared. His name is Arthur Pendragon, the Hero who defeated the Demon King and saved the planet."

"Gaaa! Gaaa!"

"Baby~ That's bad. Pulling mother's hair is bad, mother will be sad."

"Gaa!"

The baby in her arms cried and started pulling her hair. Esmeralda giggled and cuddled her baby's tummy. 

The story that Esmeralda said happened more than hundreds of years ago. It was a terrible event that eliminated most of the Demihumans. 

"Baby~ You have to be a good girl when you grow up so that the Demon King will not show up under your bed~"

"Gooo!"

The child did not understand what she said and began pulling her dress.

"My cute little Toshi~"

Toshi Densetsu, Esmeralda's youngest daughter. Her surname was from her father who was currently fighting on the frontline against the raging Aberrants.

'I will take my revenge.'

Esmeralda swore in her heart as she took a step to the podium. She recalled the moment when everything was alright. When her family was complete and she could smile without hesitation. 

But she understood that she could not bring the past. All she could do was serve justice over those who died. 

'I will destroy Junian.'

The whole time, Esmeralda gathered strong TA Users under her banner. She strengthen her army and made sure that everyone was ready for war. That's why she is excited to recruit Yuna because Yuna's ability is greatly needed. 

Yet in the middle of that mission, she found someone whom she had forgotten. A prophecy-- Calix Romoel who ended the life of a Demon-God. 

She chuckled, she felt that destiny was playing with her. 

She had already forgotten the feelings of being in love. This whole time, she was acting like an almighty God. But Calix taught her the truth, that she was just a woman. 

Whenever she was with him, she always let go of her responsibility. Whenever Calix praises her, she feels that everything is alright. That her hard work was worth it. She is truly happy. 

'Toshi, I will save you. Mommy's going to save you...'

Esmeralda reached the stage and she met Donald Biden who was turning the leadership to her. 

"Say... Have we met before?"

Donald asked, he was confused and looked around. He did not know why he was in this place.

Esmeralda rolled her eyes. This pick-up line would not work on her, especially when she already heard it countless times from Donald. 

"Yeah, we met before."

"Really?"

Esmeralda nodded. 

"We had a relationship long ago, but because of your forgetfulness, I stopped caring about you. Besides, you are young back then."

"Wow, I can't believe that."

Donald was obviously shocked. 

"Yeah, this is the only time I said it to you."

"Okay... Say, have we met before?"

"..."

Esmeralda shook her head. She should have expected this. Donald would never remember her, nor anyone. 

"You can talk to your babysitter."

She was talking about Andreas Romoel who was currently standing next to Donald. 

"Thank you!"

Esmeralda disregarded the Dementia guy. She reached the podium and kneeled in front of the waving flag. 

'The flag that we created. The symbol of unification.'

Dellia was nothing but a group of tribes, villages, and cities that formed a country. 

"I, Esmeralda Margaret, will do my best to protect this country against the Aberrants or anyone who will show aggression towards the country."

Big words for a big woman like her. 

"Waaahhh--!!"

The citizens screamed in celebration as they congratulated their new leader. These past few months, Esmeralda has proven her ability. She stopped the terrorist attack, she killed the Demon-God, and she retrieved the precious Fragment of Excalibur. 

The population believes that she will be a great leader. Particularly the females, they were happy to have a strong woman lead them. 

Esmeralda started serving her speech to the citizens of Dellia. All of the cameras were pointed at her, they were live-broadcasting this event. 

In the middle of her speech, she heard the commotion and realized that uninvited guests showed up. 

"So they are already here."

She murmured. 

Instead of being mad, she was smiling as she flicked her fingers. 

She already expected that the Council of Torment would attack her now that she was holding the Fragment. In a way, she created this situation where they could attack her. 

First, it was currently daytime and the sun was shining brightly. Esmeralda was weak at this moment. 

Second, the Council could use the citizens as their hostages to negotiate with Esmeralda. 

However, their calculation was wrong. 

A barrier made by darkness protected the stadium and all of the citizens were safe. 

After having sex with Calix, the sun could not her anymore. As long as she had sex with Calix, she could freely use her power without any hindrance. Her greatest weakness was erased. 

'Well, I can use my full power for five hours. After that, I have to have sex with Calix again. Not bad in my opinion.'

It was the best possibility of all.

"Citizens of Dellia! As I promised, I will eradicate the enemies that will endanger our country!" 

The citizens were panicking and confused but they calm down when they heard her statement. 

One by one, the citizens started cheering up because they believe that Esmeralda would never fail them. 

"Woohoo!"

"I can't believe that I will witness the  Goddess of Darkness fighting!"

"Banzai!"

Esmeralda grinned and she merged with the shadow and teleported to the top of the stadium.
