Patreon iOS apple app

Beginning in November, *NEW* memberships pledged through Apple iOS patreon apps will have an additional 30% fee. If you are already pledged, this won’t affect you in any way.
It’s ridiculous, but patreon acknowledges it.
Importantly I know some folks frequently remove and re-pledge monthly, so I wanted to make sure this information was available.
On that note, a few months ago I did adjust how pledges work on my account. So now if you pledge any time of the month, you’ll be charged the following month 30 days later.
So if being charged on the first of the month doesn’t work for you, you can move your payment date to another day of the month wherever works best for you.
In any case, the major point to take from this is that if you or your friends plan to pledge to me after November (meaning you plan to *start* pledging after Nobember). PLEASE do so through desktop, website, or an android app.
I get no benefit from you being charged that 30% extra, that would *only* go to apple.
