Capitulo 120

There were four giants that had the authority and reign over the Thera and Netherworld.

First was the World Government, which was an International Organization that protect and maintain the peace of the world. They had the most authorities in the Thera, as most of the population trust them. They elect 17 people in the Council that would make choices and laws regarding the world. At first, the World Government was created by the hundred countries to have their voices heard, it was like United Nations. However, as time goes on, the World Government slowly turned into the strongest organization in the world. Their voice is the law.

The second was the Clans of Arma, Bestia, and Handler. Clans were categorized under the Nightbreakers Association but they were too huge and hard to handle so they were not exactly under them. There were hundreds of Clans all around the world but the most powerful are the Twelve Prominent Clans.

The third was the Nightbreakers Association, they were the authority that holds the occupation of being the official organization of Nightbreakers. Usually, they have a strong connection to Guilds, Clans, and Academies. Students can only be recognized as Nightbreakers if the Nightbreakers Association gave them the approval. They have monthly exams for the said occupation.

The fourth was the Guilds. They were more like business-oriented groups. There were thousands of Guilds, from the small Guilds to larger Guilds. However, the most known were the Top Ten Guilds of the Thera. They hold the strongest Nightbreakers that didn't have connections from Clans.

Actually, there was another alliance but the World Government couldn't recognize them. To be precise, they didn't stand eye to eye because these certain institutions were usually doing something illegal. They were called underground organizations. They were more active in the Netherworld where the authority of the World Government was bleak. It may look nonsense but most of the Metropolises in the Netherworld fall under their hands. So despite being shady, the World Government still accepts them, secretly.

Somatorio aimed his charge rifle at the freaking monstrosity of a giant. His rifle gathered energy, when Somatorio detected that everything was fine, he pulled the trigger and a massive white pillar blasted towards the monster.

The whole Lynbrook was covered with light that even people and monsters turned blind for a second. This was his God-Class Skill, the White Judgement. It had the power to eradicate the enemy through its pure firepower.

When everything turned to normal, a deafening cry resounded all around. The Kakaiba cried as its left shoulder was missing.

"Tch, as expected, he used his Aura to defend against the White Judgement."

God-Class were God-Class because they have powerful physiques. Despite shooting a potent beam, the Higante still survived. The Higante roared and started destroying everything around it. It kicked the nearest building and debris flew everywhere.

[It's already enough. You did a good job.]

"Thanks."

Terrence spoke and Somatorio chuckled as he sat flat on the dirt. His clothes were torn and he appeared to be a hobo.

"This is one of the reasons why Higante are destructive, but they are easy targets too."

Their White Judgement had another effect.

The Higante circulate its Aura to heal its wounds but the monster realized that its wounds were not healing at all. In fact, the damage was slowly spreading. The Higante further cried and shoot red beams. It was getting frantic.

"I guess my job is finished here... You are late, dumbass."

Somatorio mumbled as he rest.

Just as the Higante was busy with babying its wounds. A man dashed towards the huge creature, the man swung his weapon and a golden bright light shoot up. It was like a huge razor blade because of the aura that the man imbued. It was a silhouette of a golden sword.

A strong reverberation of shock echoed all over York New City. It was the clash of the Higante against a young-looking man. Despite being a hundred times bigger than the man, the Higante couldn't fight the guy equally at all, not in close combat.

The guy was swinging his sword like a Demon King. The Higante deflected the golden silhouette of a blade but it received a wound instead. Despite having its Auta active, it didn't stop the blade at all.

It was because of the Aura characteristic of the young-looking man, the man's Aura had the characteristic of the razor. It means that the Aura that he imbued to the sword was like a razor that could penetrate even the Higante's Aura.

"That is..."

Fantasia turned around, they were already in the Hattanman. So far, the monsters were still trying to attack the barricades but because of the Nightbreakers and officials, they maintain their line, and no monsters escaped. Of course, except for Uccelli and flying-type Zviera, they were all in the sky. It was thankful that there were Bestia and Handlers that were killing them one by one and their numbers were kept.

"Joseph Cavalieri..."

Fantasia whispered as she stared at the golden silhouette of a sword. She strongly remembered that Skill, that was the Sword Spirit. It was one of the Skills of Joseph's Arma, Excalibur Pendragon.

The razor Aura was encircling the holy blade and damaging the Higante slowly.

[You shouldn't be surprised.]

Keenan disturbed her thoughts.

[We both know Joseph's other title.]

Except for being the Clan Leader of Cavalieri, Joseph Cavalieri had another title.

"Giant Slayer..."

Fantasia whispered under her breath.

Joseph was known for being a Giant Slayer. His destructive sword was a great rival against the Higante.

Another red beam flew but Joseph instinctively evaded it just inches away. Then, Joseph deactivated his Sword Spirit and the golden silhouette disappeared.

Just like Keenan's plan when they fought the Higante earlier, Joseph charged at the Kakaiba and climbed up to its abdomen. Without hesitation, Joseph silently cast his Skill and the Higante fell on the ground with its two legs cut into pieces.

This was the power of the Clan Leader who had a great Aura manipulation. The pinnacle of Sword Masters, Joseph Cavalieri. It was precise as if Joseph was a robot that was programmed to kill Higante.
