Keenan said at them and both the girls nodded their heads. The more they spend in Lynbrook, the harder it was for them to escape. Because even now, monsters were showing around.

Keenan glanced at the giant Higante, even for its species, it was so huge. It was massive that it almost block the sun. On top of that, behind the giant Higante was the Rift that kept pouring monsters out, as if it was a drunk bastard who puked its contents because of a hangover.

'What a shitty analogy.'

Keenan transformed back into a blade and Fantasia caught him. They could feel that their Resonance increased because of what they experienced. They see each other on an equal level.

[Fantasia, you have to be careful. That giant monster has completely come out of the Rift. That tattoo around its face means that it's a Kakaiba. Possibly the red beam that it releases is its Kakaiba power.]

"I get it, I have to beware of its movement right?"

Suzy felt like another pair of Hands enveloped her, they were carrying her. To be honest, she was confused why Keenan had this power but she didn't ask, not in this dangerous place.

Fantasia started running towards the Hattanman. Based on the time, it was already twenty minutes when the Rift happened. At any moment, the reinforcement would appear.

Fantasia didn't listen at all. There were only a few kilometers left to reach Hattanman. However, Keenan shouted which caused Fantasia to flinch.

Because of Fantasia's natural talent, she stopped her sprinting legs before a pillar of red beam caught them.

Right before them, they witnessed how everything was obliterated. If not because of Keenan's warning, they were already dead.

Both Fantasia and Suzy felt the scorching heat and Fantasia backed away. When the red beam ended, they realized that a hundred meters of space were turned into a huge crater.

Fantasia swallowed hard as she glanced at the huge Higante. That Kakaiba had destructive power and could fire red beams almost endlessly. It was a frightening thought.

Fantasia bit her lip and rerouted, this path was unusable. She won't dare to step on that newly created crater that had a hot surface.

Both of them had a point. The only reason Terrence and Somatorio were having a Union was because of their Resonance, it was steady at 95%. Terrence knew that no one could handle him other than Somatorio. So he stayed with him even though he couldn't imbue his Aura to his bullets.

"So, are we gonna do it?"

[You know, this monster has Aura just like us. Even if we damaged the Higante, it has enough energy to heal itself. Furthermore, it can construct Aura as a defense.]

"This is going to be tough, so the only way is to kill it one shot."

Terrence clicked his tongue. As always, they would sing this iconic song.

"Where are we going to start, the chorus or the verse 1?"

It was still kind of stupid of asking that.

The reason why they were singing was about their Resonance. They could increase their 95% Resonance up to 98% by singing. It was one of the unique ways of bonding and they both sense that their connection was getting stronger.

Just like how a certain partner would talk about tits and ass, Somatorio and Terrence could increase their Resonance through singing together. However, they were both tone-deaf so it was disastrous.

Somatorio grinned and aimed his charge rifle at the Higante. He was going to fire his strongest Skill with the Resonance of 98%
