Capitulo 116

Fantasia stumbled against the wall as she glanced at her right shoulder. It was bleeding and gruesome bite marks were visible. She couldn't raise her right arm with this.

She frowned.

But then a Zviera pounced on her, Fantasia predicted it so she ducked and the monster hit nothing. With that wide open range, she cut its neck and black blood started flowing through. The Zviera struggled but it lost its life in the end.

Now, there were only two Zviera remaining. Fantasia weakly stood as she panted so hard, her shoulder was tingling, it was definitely painful. Yet, her eyes were seriously set on the two monsters.

Each of them was eyeing each other, Fantasia was still a normal person so she understood that she was at the disadvantage. She steal a glance at the door, she could escape this place and locked the door. But with this injury, she was not sure if she could even close it. She couldn't feel her right shoulder at all.

Drinking an Elixir in the middle of the battle was foolish, she would show an opening that the monsters could attack. On top of that, using Elixir needed concentration. It would be hard to concentrate while having two monsters at each side, she would only waste the Elixir. Running away was out of the options too, because these monsters were must faster than her. She was just a normal person, she couldn't use any Aura to reinforce her body.

So the best answer is…

'I have to kill them.'

Blood slowly dripped down, she would only lose blood if she stayed still. So the best way was to kill them.

Fantasia calmed down, Keenan taught her how to reset her mind while being in stressful situations. She took a deep breath and erased all her hesitation.

The two monsters sensed her determination and decided to attack first. They have to kill her and devour her flesh.

"Aaahhhh!!!"

Fantasia roared and charged at them, her left hand was tightly holding the dagger. The first Zviera jumped to bite her, Fantasia gritted her teeth and sacrificed her already injured right shoulder. She couldn't feel anything in her right shoulder anyway.

The monster bit her shoulder and she heard something tearing, yet Fantasia just aimed her dagger at its eye and stabbed the shit out of the monster!! The Zviera whimpered but when Fantasia stabbed it again, the monster completely died.

Yet she didn't have time to celebrate. Because the last monster bit her left arm.

"Gahh!!"

She grunted, she didn't have any arm to move around. The Zviera did its best to tear his flesh and Fantasia's face contorted because of pain.

Her right shoulder was bitten and she couldn't raise it anymore. Then, her left arm was being dragged around too. Did it mean that she couldn't fight anymore?

The answer is no, Fantasia still has his feet and her mouth. She did something suicidal. She strongly locked the monster using her legs, and she bit its neck.

Fantasia understood that a Nightmare's flesh was poisonous. The only one thing that was not poisonous about them was the N-core. Nightbreaker may have resistance against the poison but consuming a great amount was still fatal.

However, Fantasia didn't stop, she bit the monster so strong that she had torn the flesh off its neck. Black blood slowly gushed out until the monster died.

Now, Fantasia pushed the monster away and she started standing. She looked at her arms, they were in horrible condition. Although it was fortunate that she could still move her left arm.

Fantasia gagged and puked all of the intakes she consumed, it was a natural reaction after she ate poison. It seemed like her life won't end here. Fantasia summoned an Elixir and drank it up using her trembling left hand.

She was breathing hard as her chest heaved up and down. So far, this was the most life-threatening situation she ever experienced. She wondered how Keenan survived this situation for two weeks.

"… I guess that explains why he's crazy."

She chuckled and started walking to the door, her injuries gradually healed.

She opened the door and came out, as expected she couldn't find Suzy. Her face was covered with sweat as she looked around.

She still remembered this place, usually, this street would be filled with busy people who were going in and out of their jobs. Some food stalls would sell hotdogs and corndogs but now everything was destroyed. Even the towering buildings were toppled like lego toys.

It was fortunate that Jeanne's hotel was at Xronb, far ahead of Hattanman. So far the damage was still around the Lynbrook but it won't take a while for the monsters to attack the other area too.

Fantasia's wave of thoughts was disturbed when she felt that the ground was shaking. Fantasia only knew one species who could shake the ground like this. As she turned around, her face gradually turned livid. As expected, the Higante they found earlier was still there. The monster was munching a group of warped people that were squeezed and combined together like pieces of bubblegum. The Higante was eating them because they were delicious.

Then, the Higante glanced down and found that a single person was eyeing it. Fantasia was stone frozen when the monster looked at her eye to eye, she felt like her soul was sucked into oblivion. The primate-looking creature that had long ears was scary.

Fantasia's complexion turned pale. It was impossible to defeat a Higante when she was just alone and had no Arma to use.

She grimly smiled as she realized that the monster slowly extended its hand to reach her. She couldn't move at all. Not when this gigantic creature was stealing his strength.

"... A Class-SSS with a height of 140 meters, as if I have a chance to defeat it."

She lost all her hope and closed her eyes. She accepted her fate. She wished that the others were safe, that was the only thing she wished before she died.

Yet, a man with golden eyes dashed and snatched her away from the giant's hand.
