Capitulo 112

Jeanne and Fantasia dashed towards the place, away from the Distortion, while Suzy was in mid-air being dragged by a pair of invisible Hands. She was perplexed but fear was stronger. She couldn't help but look around.

She covered her mouth, it was gruesome. She found dead bodies all around, people were crying and asking for help. It was sickening, she wanted to puke so bad. This is just a dream, she kept saying to herself, yet the scene didn't change at all. She didn't wake up, because this is reality and all the things she witnessed were real.

She convulsed, her face was pale and she couldn't think straight but someone called her name.

"Suzy!"

"Huh?"

Fantasia yelled close to her. Suzy turned to her, her lips were shivering. She was afraid. Yet Fantasia smiled at her, it was the best smile she has ever done. Probably it was the only time that Fantasia made a full-blown smile, it was beautiful. Suzy was caught in.

"It's okay, nothing bad will happen to you. Keenan and I will protect you. Just close your eyes for now."

Fantasia was like a mother reassuring her child.

Fantasia reassured her, she is an angel. Suzy nodded and strongly shut her eyes, she was convinced because Fantasia didn't look frightened at all.

Keenan mumbled at Fantasia, the woman nodded and she lost her smile. She became serious, all her focus ahead of the way. They had to leave this place as soon as possible.

However, while in the middle of their retreat, they felt a horrible presence behind them. It was so disturbing that Fantasia almost lost her balance. This existence was the greatest threat.

"Don't falter!!! Just run!!"

Jeanne yelled and Fantasia regained her focus.

"Don't ever look behind, or else you will lose your determination!"

Jeanne announced, except for the bleeding on her head, she looked fine. She faced dozens of existence like this. Fantasia realized that she still have a long way to reach Jeanne,'s level of concentration.

Fantasia gritted her teeth and ran faster, she felt that something far dangerous was coming.

"Yeah, I'm here. For now, we will keep the monsters at bay."

A buff guy stated while looking at the sky where a black gash was open and thousands of monsters continued pouring. It was a sight to behold, yet people understand the danger.

"If a God-Class appeared, we will handle it."

The buff guy assured. He was confident in his ability. Or to be exact, in their abilities. He had scars around his face, he looked threatening together with his army-cut black hair.

"Ey, Somatorio. I think you have bad luck. You say that you want to visit this place, look what happened, the whole city is in tatters.

A lanky guy approached him, making fun of his partner. He had blonde hair, pointy nose, he appeared to be a lazy ass with his Hawaiian shirt and baggy pants. They were two hundred years old but because of their cultivation, they appear to be in their early thirties.

"It said that she's here, so I want to talk to her."

"Here you go again. Man, can't you listen to what I said? She didn't like you, besides, you are almost twice the age of her. You're going to jail."

"Huh? We're both legal, so what are you talking about."

"You are a pedophile."

"Fuck you."

The buff guy raised his middle finger in annoyance.

"Okay, okay. Let's just finish this."

Ex-General Somatorio and his partner, Terrence Romeo cast their union… Yeah, they spoke those cringy lines again. [Fuck you, author…]

Somatorio lifted his hand and a charge rifle materialized in his hand. Somatorio is a Handler who specialized in handling guns, to be exact, guns that had strong firepower.

Somatorio aimed his rifle at the Rift, thousands of monsters continued falling. He had to minimize the monsters so that the others in the land won't build up. Somatorio pulled the trigger and a pillar-like light blasted around 28 percent of the Nightmares in just one shot. It was a great feat.

He was not afraid to shoot powerful blasts because he was aiming at the sky anyway, he won't hit any civilians. Somatorio continued pulling the trigger and the monsters didn't even reach the ground alive. Somatorio was well aimed, he could maximize the damage that the monsters get.

However...

[Oi, Somatorio. I think something big going to show up. I mean, really really big... I'm not sure if that's even a Higante.]

Terrence emphasized the term big because he detected a massive presence, and it was releasing a destructive aura. Even Terrence, a God-Class felt that this creature was different from the usual ones.

"Once that creature shows up, we will kill it with one shot. That's the only way to kill it."

Somatorio admitted that this incoming monster was going to be tough to deal with.

Just like what they predicted, a huge silhouette slowly lifted its head to the Rift Distortion. The Rift Distortion was already vast yet the Higante could only show half of its body, its upper body was not even completely shown. The Higante looked to be human aside from its massive size, although it has pointy ears and its nose was flattened like a monkey.

However, the most important thing that caught their attention was...

[Hey, is that a tattoo on its mouth?]

Terrence realized that this was going to be difficult. Perhaps this whole city won't survive even an hour.

"Fuck, I guess I do have bad luck..."

Somatorio cursed. He was used to the military, fighting Nightmares was his everyday life for hundreds of years. Yet this was his first time seeing an abomination like this.

"There is no mistake, that's a Kakaiba. You got to be kidding me..."

The most dangerous combination of all time. A Higante that has Kakaiba ability. How frightening is that?

Yet the pair of Handler and Arma didn't back down, the Handler aimed his gun at the giant monster.
