After a whole week of vacation, Keenan and Fantasia returned to York New to continue their training. Fantasia was anxious the whole time as she found that something changed in Keenan. She didn't know why but lately, he was always quiet, thinking of something deep. Fantasia tried to talk to him but Keenan would change the topic. Keenan talked to her as if everything was normal but Fantasia felt the oddity.

She bit her nail while glaring at Keenan who was walking ahead, mindlessly, as if his brain was flying somewhere.

'It's started when the Princess of Three Blades appeared in the arena…'

Fantasia strongly believed that that woman, Alexa, was the culprit behind Keenan's current behavior.

'Perhaps they know each other. His eyes when he looked at her are filled with happiness and sadness… that cheeky man he keeps this thing a secret from me.'

To be fair, Fantasia knew that Keenan lived in an orphanage when he was young. However, her information about the orphanage was not detailed because the orphanage had strict rules about their kids' identity to keep them safe. So Fantasia didn't know much about the orphanage or about the kids that Keenan met there.

'But's obvious that Keenan knew that Alexa, I can see it in his eyes.'

This was going to be problematic. Fantasia's goal was to maintain this relationship, but once something negative happened, their Resonance might be endangered. They just met each other for about two months, and their Resonance was not steady. If something massive cracked their relationship, it might be impossible to maintain their Union.

'Alexa Mondragon…'

That was the name of the woman, but Keenan whispered her name as Alexa Renona. Fantasia got the gist of the story but she didn't dare to confront him. Not when Keenan was acting like this, quiet and almost non-existent. Fantasia tried to make fun of Keenan but he would just say "Huh? Are you talking to me? Ah! Yeah! Yeah!" like an asshole that he was.

'He can't even listen to what I said these days…'

Fantasia was worried. After technically killing her last Arma, Fantasia promised that she would take care of her current partner.

'The Tournament ended and Alexa got second place. She lost in the finals but it's not a disgrace because she almost win the battle. It's just her opponent is already a DemiGod.'

Fantasia admitted that Alexa was a strong opponent. Especially how she handled three partners together. It was captivating and enviable.

"Innate ability…"

She whispered, just like the official Clan members of the Cavalieri, Alexa had an innate ability. Apparently, Alexa's soul was so enormous that she could handle three partners at the same time without having a problem. She could use three of them smooth as the flowing water in the river.

Alexa had two Arma and one Bestia, and they were all females. Her Bestia was a Class-SS and she could transform into a Black Hawk that could manifest lightning.

Then, Alexa's main weapon was a long sword, the sword had this unique type of Skill that Fantasia had a hard time understanding.

"The sword can slightly change the environment. As expected from a Class-SSS sword, it has frightening Skill."

As for the last Arma, it was a New-Gen Arma. It was a Class-SS, a white handgun that had strong firepower. Fantasia recalled how the gun turned 1/4 of the arena into smithereens.

Both Fantasia and Keenan were shocked while watching the Tournament. They found that their ability was nothing compared to real talented Nightbreakers.

"We are the same age but they are all above us... What's more about the other countries. Ricaame is just one of the hundred countries in the Thera. There are still other young ones who are far more powerful. Just like the youngest God-Class on the planet, I heard he's living in Pajan."

It was frustrating to see people of your age getting stronger. They felt the urgency but at the same time, they felt defeated.

"It's funny because we are still young and our lives are just getting started but we already felt that we lost the race that no one even made."

She chuckled, Keenan's figure was already away. That asshole was still in the middle of daydreaming. Her gaze fixed on him.

"Keenan is extraordinary, but he's still not that extraordinary. If he has five Skills, then Alexa has nine Skills or more. Perhaps he's frustrated just like me..."

Keenan recently broke through and he was an official Class-A and Class-B Arma and Bestia respectively. Although the information about his second power was still a secret and only Fantasia and Jeanne knew about it.

"Class-A, huh."

Fantasia had to train and eat N-cores more to equal Keenan's cultivation, or else she would be left behind. She had to become Class-A too.

The higher Resonance, the faster the Handler adapts. So their 90 percent would make Fantasia's physique become a Class-A as long as she train and eat N-cores, her disposition was another factor.

Overall, it would take around a month or two for Fantasia to become a Class-A. That is if their Resonance didn't decrease.

"That's why I'm really anxious right now. I hope Keenan still remembers his promise that he will help me become a Class-S."

Yup, she was still craving for the Aura, the innate ability of her Clan that didn't manifest in her.

"I guess, I don't have a choice but to do this..."

Fantasia was in turmoil. This was the first time that she would do this. She had five Arma before Keenan but this was the first time she was going to do this. Skinship. It was one of the best solutions to increase and maintain a Resonance.

It was a powerful concept that people are hungry about, this is the Skinship.

While Keenan was walking mindlessly, a person appeared behind him and hugged his back. A pair of hands coiled around him and Keenan regained his focus.

"Huh? Fantasia? What are you doing?"

"Dummy..."

Fantasia let go of him and she started running away from Keenan. For a moment, Keenan saw that her ears were bright red but he thought it was an illusion.

"... Did I see it right? Probably not, Fantasia will never blush."

He stated while watching Fantasia running away from him.
