Hey, everyone, it’s Andy here! Day 13 Part 1//Lars + Housekeeping (Part 2) have been finished! It’s been a little tiring to fix so much jank from previous builds, but I’m glad I was able to tackle a lot of it. As always, there are many smaller details that I changed that won’t be as important, so I won’t list them here. You can read them in-game though!
Without further ado, let’s review what’s been changed!

Whew, it’s two months' worth of an update, so quite a lot of content changes this time, but as always, Patreon and Public versions are exactly 2 updates apart. This time, the Patreon version will include D13P1//L and Housekeeping Update Part 2, while the Public version will include M12 and Housekeeping Update Part 2.
This update can be accessed by Patrons from September 2025 up to today.
Just like the previous update, this update will break many of your previous saves (from version 0.12.60 and below)! It’s recommended to start a new one.

Day 13 attempts to bring all routes to one single point, and you might be wondering what’s up with the strange name this time; it’s mostly because Day 13 functions the same way as Day 7.
There are so many things to keep track of in this update, that’s why it’s broken off into several parts instead of one big continuous update. Currently, we have only Part 1 of Day 13 from playing Lars’ route, and so this update might seem incomplete (because it is incomplete.)
Day 13 Part 1 will end on a cliffhanger, and it’s expected that you save at some point of the day so you can revisit it later since some of it will become a one-time event.

This update features all characters from batch 1 of Big Pack tier. Say hello to everyone!

The start screen has been updated so that players will get extra dialogue when starting a new save. The prologue screen has also been updated and reworked to include a snippet of what’s going to come (uh oh.)

Following the rework of the start and the prologue screens, Lars Day 1 and Day 2 also have undergone some changes. This is still incomplete, and I’ll make changes over time to later days as well.

I’ve fixed many bugs that were reported in the Error Report. Especially that one weird transition bug that seems to reappear every now and then! Well, the game still has many bugs, so please keep sending the error reports when you can, it’ll help us make the VN better!
Fixed issues:
Sayer "b" is not defined error has been fixed.
Lars 2_emb not found has been fixed.
Uni_fields image not found error has been fixed.
Transition error for Anders' house has been fixed.
Load screen turns into save screen when accessed through quick menu has been fixed.
Character screen being available in non-main route has been fixed.
Missing callback sound for narrator/characters has been fixed for some part of the CGs.
Misaligned textbox during scenes with CGs has been fixed.
Android save screen has been fixed.
Known issues:
Some screens still look inconsistent due to time constraints.
Save/Load: The ability to name your save slot is still pending.
Characters in Lars Day 6 remain expressionless.
The messaging screen is still bugged, it might show the same messages twice.
Generic music from Incompetech still remains, but it'll be gradually taken out.
The prologue screen still needs to be reworked.
Character names in text logs might get cut off -sometimes- if it exceeds 13 letters.
Character likes and dislikes won't update in save info until next time players load the file.
Double confirmation sound still plays on some menus.
When loading old saves, some names will have double honorifics. (Starting a new file is recommended.)

Well, now that I have a clear view of what to expect, safe to say we’ll still be doing Housekeeping Update (Part 3) and Day 13 Part 2! There are many things I have yet to implement in game, but I already got the concept down, most notably the Journal system. It’s supposed to replace the current Characters screen in the menu.


There’s also a concept of the new day transition that I’ve been working on, but I feel like it’s still missing something…


Oh, yeah, I’m updating Patron tier pricing, I’ll make a new post to explain it further.
