Page Reopening and We're hiring! (Kind of)

This time, I'll provide no tl;dr since all parts of it are important, so read it carefully.

As the backlog is nearing completion, I'm looking to reopen the Patreon within next week, most likely July 1st. I resumed it just now and paused right away so I can set it to next month without problem. If you're being billed just now, you may request a refund to @tb.devs on Discord. iOS subscriptions aren't eligible for one, since Apple automatically cancels/refunds the subscription the moment I pause the billing cycle again.

Gil Day 12 is set to release next month, and it'll be the last Day 12 in our backlog, and then followed by the yearly Housekeeping update. You guys might be questioning why I'm reopening when I'm not completely finished with the backlogs: the reason is that we're still actively developing the VN despite our hiatus, so assets commissions haven't been stopped at all, and we need funds to make that happen, and our VN funds are getting a little too thin for us to pay our artists, heh.

With that in mind, for those of you who don't want to be charged for two backlog releases next month and August, I'm giving you guys a short notice before that happens next week, so, be sure to get that done before Monday, or else I won't be able to refund you. Don't worry about double charge either because we're using a subscription-based payment cycle. You can safely re-pledge during mid-August, that's when we're continuing our newest Day 13 update!

Now for the second part of the news, we're hiring! Well, sort of.

We're looking to hire at least two people who are proficient in (or at least have a decent understanding of) both Chinese (preferably Standard Chinese/Mandarin) and English to help us translate our announcements. This is an attempt to reach a broader audience since we're looking to translate the game to different languages, and we're starting by translating our posts to a different language first.

As we emphasized transparency from the start of the development of this VN, I'll tell you how we're paying you: we're only offering a flat rate of $25 each month regardless of how many posts we make in a month (that also means you'll be getting paid even if there's nothing needing to be translated). For reference, we usually make a maximum of three posts a month with a word count of around 500-900 words, but of course, exceptions apply.

We know that's very little pay compared to the current market, but sadly, while we'd love to pay you more, we can't afford to pay you by a per word basis as our funds are pretty limited, but we'll compensate you however we can.

So, if you're looking to have some extra pocket money, please reach out to us @tb.devs on Discord, and we can talk there.

Again, keep in mind, we're not asking you to translate the game, we're asking you to translate the announcement posts we're going to make in the future.
