Nix, small details, and transforming characters...

You wouldn't want an actor in a movie holding the same facial expression the entire time (unless it was like, the iron man suit, or something...that'd be a weird smile....)
With that said, I needed to create all new facial reactions for Rex, Molly, and of course, Nix, who I hadn't made anything for yet. Now Nix is a badass who does what she wants to get what she wants, and damn anything in her way. However, she's clearly got a bit of a soft side if she also refuses to kill our hero's, so I threw together an expression set that I felt really portrayed that. She loves domination, even if it's her being the one dominated!
What you're seeing in the battle screen is what Rex and Molly can both become...new versions of themselves! Rex as the hero he always had the potential to be, and Molly, corrupted by all of the negative circumstances that surrounded her thus far. She's far tougher...but at what cost?
Anyway, now that I have that put together, I can begin the dialog and battle!
