I don't really post here on Patreon and I think it's a bit disrespectful on my end. We have a pretty active discord here. There might be some people that don't use discord though which is why I'm writing this.
What do you guys think? Is there value in my forwarding along stuff here or?
I don't really mind either way, I just hate the thought of someone sitting in silence so feel free to comment and let me know.
Maybe I could do a weekly roundup of the amount of downloads every day during the week, bandwidth used, most popular torrent - things like that. Just some nerd stats really.
Apart from that, there aren't any real concrete plans at the moment. The server stuff is all good and stable. The new nodes I added are working great. The current setup is like so:
One dedicated storage node (6tb disk, 1Gbit/s line) based in Europe
Two cache nodes (160gb NVME, 1Gbit/s line) based in Europe
Two cache nodes (160gb NVME, 1Gbit/s line) based in NA.
There are two additional servers of mine on the project still, one will be expiring on the 1st of January and the second I'll keep about as a backup of sorts. So the official bandwidth available is 5Gbit/s but really, it's 6Gbit/s.
The only real infrastucture things that'd be handy is a dedicated storage node in NA, and a dedicated build server but we're functioning just fine without them so it's not important.
