April's Update Notice | Monthly Report

Good timezone, everyone! Long time no see; I've came back from that one-month break! I hope you guys are doing good. 

I'm sorry that I gave no news regarding the VN during my break because I really wanted to take an actual break for a while. If I came off as neglecting my work and not giving you guys enough content this year so far, I apologize, I'll do better next time. But please keep in mind that you're free to stop pledging when you see fit, especially if you feel you're not getting much value from being my patron.

Anyway, the main highlight of this month's update is that it'll include Lars Special Episode Trad Chinese translation as part of April's update and February's (supposedly) Gil's Episode. Here's what we'll include in the upcoming update, hopefully:

• Preview: Lars/Sp-Ep Traditional Chinese translation and Gil Episode (Patreon build.)

Didn't realize putting in translation would be a very tedious work. The way I code this VN and how Renpy handles string translations are making me scream.

• Backgrounds

Even though we weren't doing any development related things during my break, we have some backgrounds done.

We plan to have 4 more BG (H. Uni fields, Farfetch center, ???, ???) but we're not sure if we can finish on time, but if so, we'll include it in upcoming April update!

• Characters: Big Pack - Blaidd adjustment, Ren, and new character sprites.

We have never properly introduced Blaidd (North Grizz) on a Patreon post, so we're doing it now + he's receiving a character sheet adjustment in game. We have also added Ren (Daikitei) into the game assets, and he's already in the game, just need to implement his character sprites.

In addition to Blaidd and Ren, we have added character sprites to existing side characters, including but not limited to:

• [???] Main Character's Dad
• [???] Main Character's Mom

We also have one more character sprites planned for Gil Episode, but Wolgen is currently taking a break; and also for story reasons, I can't reveal who it is.

• UI Changes and translations.

Whew, it seems like there's no end to UI changes. While it's no major changes, there are still minor changes to be made. The changes are including, but not limited to: removal of news button due to it being unstable, UI translation for Chinese version (Lars Special Episode only), texts adjustments, etc.

• Development schedule, build distribution change, etc.

Regarding replay screen, it'll be added in the near future, probably May or June, along with Gallery and title screen update.

We also have a slight change to our schedule regarding who's getting next update, so I'll let you know when I have decided. 

Speaking of updates, due to security reasons, we'll start sending out new build and password through inbox instead of posting on Patreon posts to make it a little bit secure.
