This episode adapts some of my absolute favorite manga chapters. It’s always cool to see a villain’s origin story, though the episode skims over some narrative that would have enhanced it, like telling us that Yoichi and Zen (yes that is All For One’s real name) were born about a year before the glowing baby, hinting that they were the very first born with quirks.

All Might explains that while you cannot take one for all by force, you can give it to someone else by force, you just need them to take in your DNA and intend to pass it on. When AFO kills Yoichi, his blood is literally all over kudo's mouth, so I think he ingests it and Yoichi while being a puddle, just had the intent to give it to him. 2. I think its really neat that the spearlike bones quirk that AFO stole from his mom is the first and last quirk he uses, he even uses it against all might back at kamino to strengthen his giant arm attack. It helps show the motif that the first thing you're given sticks to you, which is why AFO has a fixation on his brother.
