In Love with an Empress

(This is a little something I wrote just for fun. Mortal Kombat fans, Mileena fans in particular, will probably appreciate it more. Will Mileena become part of a story in the future? We'll see... hehehe. Enjoy!)

Mileena, although legitimate ruler of Outworld, was on the run, only accompanied by her servant Skarlet. Everyone else who supported her was dead.

Or so they thought...

They were squatting in a squalid country house (they killed the previous occupants) and had established a temporary base there. Just making enough time to come up with a plan.

"Those wretched bastards.. ALL OF THEM!" Mileena tossed a chair out of an open window, hitting a wooden post outside.

"My Empress, please calm down. Anger will only fuel anger. We must instead plan carefully our next mov"

"Ahh.. it's all useless now.." she interrupted Skarlet as she let herself fall onto a bed. "All the ones that could have made a difference, giving me information I could have used to get my throne back are either dead or... bah.."

"I know, my Empress. The technology that shrunk their bodies to a miniature size also shrunk their fighting spirit, and they won't be able to.."

"Shush! ....do you hear that???"

Mileena sat up and stiffened, she perked her ears to hear the faintest little sound.

"What do you hear my Empr"

"SHUSH I SAID!!" her eyes went thinner as she tried to pinpoint that minuscule sound and understand what was making it. A voice? It sounded like it came from the other side of the valley, or...

Mileena's head reared and her trained eyesight immediately recognized him.

"S... Spider..? Y-You're..."

Her voice almost broke, so she stopped speaking.
The tiniest red piece of fabric, fashioned into some sort of parachute, descended slowly from a hole in the ceiling, and holding onto a thread under it, was her shrunken secret lover, the only Earthrealmer who truly believed she had to sit on that throne, and on every throne of the worlds that Mortal Kombat declared rightfully hers.

"My Empress! I finally found you!"
The minuscule man was apparently able to steer the flying contraption with ease, as he aimed to her face. When he passed the two deadly rows of Tarkatan fangs, he gently landed on the tip of her nose.

"Spider.. MY Spider!!"
No one had ever seen Mileena shed a tear, but on that day Skarlet, standing in complete disbelief (and not without feeling quite angered and vengeful towards the tiny man who stole her Empress' heart), could swear she saw the sunset light reflect from a corner of Mileena's eye.

As you might have noticed, I'm completely in love with Empress Mileena hahaha! XD I always found her the apex woman, teeth and voracity included.
