Yamato color scheme + update
Added 2020-08-20 19:55:58 +0000 UTCSorry for being quiet this week, i've been working on some published work that i wasn't shure i could post. Im doing a cover for a kickstarter comic, it's pretty cool. I did get the ok to post it, so you'll see it tommorow.
Meanwhile i've been brainstorming on other commisions as well as that yamato piece, and i know the pose and setting i want to do, however, i don't know the colors. Normally this woudn't be a big deal, but this is oda, the dude picks colors at random, queen has a fucking blonde mustache. Still i don't want to quit, ill see how it goes, probably do another commision before that.
Ill probably pick whatever works best with the rest of the piece, but im interested in what you guys think?
There's a fan theory that yamato is big mom's daughter, so i figure pink is good for the hair, it transitions in the comic in another color witch is probably kaido's black/purple. The shirt is a kinda of traditional samurai outfit with ripped sleeves, i figure it's either a traditional white or she's copying oden and is going for orange. The pants are also traditional, i figure just a color that goes well with the shirt like red or black. Her initial outfit looks like a oni charachter, their outfits are usually a combo of white/red/black, so that's a good start too.
But all of this is for shit, cause oda is gonna pick something radnom, idk orange hair, blue shirt and yellow pants. Still that's what i've been doing this week. Thanks for being patient.
