Build 0.4.2027 Live! (Public)

Build 0.4.2027 is live! This build is being sent out through the censored, uncensored, and bleeding channels and includes everything from this previous post, including:

One new Amelia H-scene (preview here), a new story chapter, new places to explore, side quests, NPCs, towns, soul retrieval, an overhauled spell and holster system, and much more! There are also various tweaks, bugfixes, and some general QoL tweaks and fixes.

You can download the new build via the Launcher, which is available here if you do not already have it installed.

In addition, these are the changes for the update from v0.4.2009 to v0.4.2027:

• Journal text added to Chapter 2

• Quest rewards have been added

• After Chapter 3 is completed, if you have a save with previously completed quests, sleep in your bed. When you wake up, Piro will call you and drop the owed rewards in your inventory. This will work in the future as well if an update adds more rewards to a quest you have already completed.

• [fix] Quest journal no longer lets you activate completed quests

• [fix] You will no longer be locked in Amelia's room after the slime hscene when triggering it in the world

• [fix] Soft checkpoint issues in cyberspace maps have been fixed, you should no longer respawn as Amelia when going straight into chapter 2 from chapter 1

• [fix] Ramiel's blades will despawn properly in chapter 2 when the player is killed

• [fix] The baroness should no longer have missing parts

• Beds and sleeping added to the game

• Additional furniture added in human environments

• Collisions in commander's office have been adjusted

• [fix] The player should no longer fall through the ground if the survey drone is activated and the player flies it outside of the character's level

• More physical materials have been flagged for various mechanics that rely on the flags

• [fix] Characters and implanted souls should properly despawn

• [fix] In chapter 4, a wrong scene can play when you interact with the door, which softlocks that chapter's progression.

• The Tasks widget on the top right of the screen now shows the quest name

• Sound implementation adjustments and additions

• The butterfly ball spell now has sounds

• [fix] The leaderboard for drone races can save previous race's data into the wrong leaderboard, corrupting the leaderboard data. This has been fixed.

• [fix] Piro no longer spawns in the base before you finish Chapter 3.

• Mortar fuse time for the Arbalest enemy has been lengthened from 1.5s to 1.75s

• [fix] The crosshair widget should no longer double when the hud is hidden and reshown
