RM Info Dump 1

A bit of extra information that is left unsaid in the world-building (cause the dots can be connected if you know the stuff) is that Wang Yang didn’t arrive in front of that painting by luck, and it wasn’t just an asspull from me to raise the stakes.

In essence, Goddess Nuwa is the creator of humans and the mender of heaven. The one thing that stays consistent with her is that she used five colored stones to do everything, the five element stones, you know Fire, Water, Wood, Earth, and Metal.

This novel’s cultivation system is also based around those five elements at the center, the correct term for it is Wuxing. It is a system where each element has reactions with other four based on their nature.

And Wang Yang’s spiritual root grants him the perfect balance of the five elements. So, his arrival in front of the painting made with the image of Nuwa by triggering the crumbling formation made based on the five elements system was teased from the start (This is just glazing, lolz.)

He couldn’t go there in his last life because the formation broke down before he visited Heaven’s Pond, meaning the place was sealed off completely. That is why Muchen also doesn't have any memory of it, so he goes off on assumption and does what he can to save Wang Yang.

The woman in the painting and Wang Yang are also connected, you’ll find out more in due time. And no, they aren’t related by blood obviously, but by fate.

I originally didn't want to write this as a post, but I kinda just had to cause I saw some guys on Royal Road asking answers for one of the points that I didn't include.

The question is, Why does Wu Kexin call Muchen Master in front of everyone when she is supposed to be a hidden disciple?

(In case you had the same question)

Ans: it is like respecting the hierarchy of the sect. Given Muchen's position and the fact that he is teaching her, in front of everyone, calling him Master isn't out of order. The point is that the 'Master' she calls him and the 'Master' his Disciples call him has a different meaning. That is why it hasn't been picked up by Wang Yang and others yet.

That is all, I’ll go to sleep now and start working on book 2 starting tomorrow morning. I’ll put the Sunday to good use, see you next Saturday.

Comments

Absorbed by the painting, it'll have it's moment later.
