Does the Catastofiend remember anything of its past from before being trapped in Mortum's gun? Even before that has continued use of the boost drugs altered its memory or sense of self? Can it recognize who it was before or only the immediate?

Yes, it can remember things. However, everything is jumbled and mixed up. I would liken it a bit to having had a severe stroke impacting the parts of the brain that concerns memory. It will start healing once it is out, but at the beginning it is running on instincts.

If sidestep/puppet is not with mortum, is mortum still being hunted by the catfiend in their lab?

Yes. That will lead to some other paths being tied in later.

What are the rangers' reactions to learning if sidestep killed the catfiend, esp. chen and ortega? and if they knew if sidestep used nanovores to do it?

He is pretty stoic/focused in the demo, does skyraider have any particular impressions of sidestep if they do a villain name reveal in the lab? if they're known for being particularly ruthless, if they're short, etc.? any questions he would ask if time wasn't of the essence?

That is literally going to be the next scene following the demo! Everyone gets to talk and bond.

If armadillo meets sidestep in the lab, do they have any suspicions that sidestep is a fellow regene?

No.

Is mortum keeping track of how fast sidestep recovers from the talodine or are their thoughts preoccupied by the catfiend?

They were, but you know... the Catastrofiend takes priority.

What does armadillo's lewd gesture in the demo mean? is it actually lewd and armadillo is being a little shit(/aff) or is that just how sidestep interpreted it?

That is how Sidestep interpreted it.

If left in the containment room, will the nanovores eventually starve or is the catfiend's flesh regenerating (even if the mind is gone, as sidestep can feel it die... if it was death they felt) serving as a neverending fuel source for them?

Does skyraider pick up on it if in-person sidestep and mortum who were previously dating before the reveal have any leftover tension specific to their relationship?

It was during a pride event. So there was a truce going on.
