Happy easter everyone!

Haven't had much time to write, but some good news. My mother was finally transferred to a more local hospital (she had a reaction to the medication at first, which got better when they changed it). The operation scar is healing very well (basically covers her entire abdomen) which is good, but she had had troubles with infection and fever which is less good. She's getting antibiotics directly into her bloodstream, which now seems to have taken care of the worst. It's been a nervous few weeks, but if everything goes according to plan she might get to go home this coming week. Hospital infections are not fun.

Did some personal writing when things were dicey and managed to write 20 000 words in two and a half days. It was for our DnD campaign (I am so behind on chronicling that as well) but it felt good to know that I still have it in me to push out vast quantities of words when I get started. Bodes well for the next demo, I can really feel the urge to write building up. Just need some peace of mind to get back into it. My best friend's divorce finally went through, and I drove him to look at an apartment last week, which he got, so that is yet another bubbling mess that looks to be resolved in the future.

QnA is half written and coming soon, hope everyone is doing as well as they can in 2025. The world is turning cruel and scary, at this point it seems all we have is each other. Be kind to your friends, and to random strangers. No need to add to the mess.

I watched "Moonrise," an animated Netflix series, and I can really recommend it! Lots of Fallen Hero vibes, mysteries within mysteries, and gorgeous fight scenes. If you can get it, have a look.
