Added 2025-08-31 19:08:13 +0000 UTC2.0 adds the possibility to marry Ulfric if you are playing as a female character, completed Dragon Rising and won the Civil War. Many NPCs will react to your marriage and recognize you as the future queen of Skyrim.

This is part of the Immersive Dialogue Expansion series which gives non-follower NPCs more immersive dialogues and introduces choices that impact the NPCs' lives.

If you are playing as a male character, then you can still ask him about whether he wanted to remarry.
Ulfric at this moment is only interested in marriage with a female Dragonborn, because he wants to restore the Dragonborn dynasty through his bloodline. He isn't interested in male or non-Dragonborn characters.

Gotta say I love this one! It's nice to see so many NPCs getting so much content added, but 90% of them are female NPC focused, there's hardly any male content. I usually play as a female, so any new male content is always welcome. I would love to see more male content, maybe around Tullius or Farkas/Vilkas, or Teldryn Serjo.

2025-09-25 22:05:44 +0000 UTCMeh. I welcome lore accurate reasonings for relationships. It’s makes for the dialogue to be less ambiguous and more consistent with the overall narrative. His reasoning for marriage calls for the Dragonborn to be female, and I think that’s fine.
