Our best Christmas mission yet? [annual mission with Welsh Greg '25]
Added 2026-01-15 19:50:20 +0000 UTC
Evening $4 crew!
It's your annual Christmas mission with our good friend Welsh Greg, and this one shaped up to be a belter. It has it all; fresh unexplored countryside, gorgeous sleepy villages, a mission through a stately home, hearty food and ale, and the friendliest, most generous of country folk you could ask for.
We had a great time as always, but it was only when I started editing this thing up that I realised just how magical this day really was.
As i mentioned before, you're getting two adventures in quick succession to make up for the long gap, and next week me and Uncle Ed will be attempting to Cook Christmas dinner in the forest...
Greg's resemblance to Roger Black is eerie.

What a great idea Nick. You won't go wrong in rural Kent! plenty of cosy English pubs and lovely patchwork countryside. Enjoy mate!

When I stayed with an old gf at her grandparents on their small holding, the manor hall there used to be owned by The Templar's, so badly want to sneak out at night and look for The Holy Grail etc.

Welsh Greg seems like such a great buddy to have. Cheers to you both.
My brother and I are American and next month we’re taking a trip across the pond on a family ancestry pilgrimage, and your videos have inspired us to favor walking and hitchhiking in the rural Kent countryside rather than car or train, where we can help it. Can’t wait to meet some proper English country blokes and put down some pints in the pubs. Our final destination is the White Cliffs of course. It’s going to be glorious reaching the very edge of the island, and there’s no better traveling companion to have than my own brother, for my money. Belated Merry Christmas boys

Unfortunately with Greg living in DC it's really tricky. We don't get to link up very often and when we do it's brief. You never know though!

Thank you for watching!
No mission filmed just yet I'm afraid. I'm nursing a toe injury and trying to get back up to fitness but also have a baby coming in a month. It's a bit of a race against time, but If I don't get one filmed this winter I'll do my best to film one in the summer!

Cracking one as usual Tom, and always a pleasure to see welsh Greg, it made me want to rewatch the Scotland mission and How Not To Travel America as those are two of my favorite series on the channel, might actually do that later 😂 In any case Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
