My Austrian adventure continues and concludes with this hefty final episode, and rest assured that things start to hot up. The interactions increase, as does the foraging, and I even avoid another night on a bench, right at the death. What follows is another of my classic heartwarming but slightly odd experiences, followed by a calamitous ending...

Got some great ideas for 2026 and will do my best to execute them despite the new baby coming in March!

In particular, your behavior toward the cashier (who was insulted simply because of a lack of understanding) and, above all, the profound lack of respect shown toward Henry. Henry opened the doors of his home to you and asked for nothing in return. He offered shelter and clean sheets, and in the middle of the night he was abandoned, with just a couple of pathetic lines of explanation that rang false. And then leaving running, outside, with the equally pathetic excuse of βI wouldnβt want to confuse them even more.β Tom, I donβt recognize you. Have you always been like this and we simply failed to notice, or what happened to you? You are very good at following rules you impose on yourself, so I kindly ask you to follow one simple rule: treat people with respect. Thank you.
