I entered a real life "Hunted" event with my mate. Can we evade the hunters and reach the end point?

Back in April 2023 me and my old buddy Dan thought it would be a laugh if we signed for a real life Hunted event. The premise is much the same as the Channel 4 show "Hunted" in which contestants are tracked and ultimately chased down by professionals over the course of 6 weeks, but significantly scaled down.
Our arena of play was a 270 acre section of forest deep inside Cannock Chase AONB, and we would have 5 hours to evade the hunters whilst moving to and from secret task points, and ultimately to the final extraction point where we would hopefully capture the final flag. We had no idea what we were letting ourselves in for and having not read the entire info email, we pretty much had to cook up a strategy as we went. Would this cocky approach serve us well? or would we be found out by the hunters, who were happy to boast that they would catch every last one of us...
Music stream next week - my favorite albums and inspirations. Wanted to get them both out this week but an infected wisdom tooth has set me back a bit.
