London to Budapest - Part #6 - Munich to Linz (story of the kindest man in Austria)

A $4 Tier Patreon Exclusive Video

The adventure continues as leave Bavaria and head for the stunning landscape of Austria..

Highlights include some fun shenanigans in Munich and Salzburg, but the main event here is the story of the most calamitous, desperate day of the trip which ended in the most heart-warming of circumstances.

Apologies for the ridiculous length of this one. There was a lot to talk about. The main story (the day of Salzburg to Frankenmarkt) starts at around 17 minutes and ends at 44 minutes.

Hope you guys enjoy. Thanks for watching!

Really enjoyable videos Tom! Might even say that it feels like going on an adventure vicariously. I know that one should do it themselves to truly feel it of course, but your narrative style really takes me into the story. In fact, after learning how enjoyable some of these small towns can be, I randomly decided to go to Pitlochry on my last Scotland trip and it really was quite an amazing little adventure. Nothing too crazy, but very few experiences have compared to walking by a small brook when the Sun is shining overhead. I'm focusing on other things right now, studying to get into public service, so not much time for new adventures as of now, but watching these videos gives me energy and the will to go on my own adventures. Thanks a ton!

Amazing video. I've been to Feldkirch once...when I was backpacking round Europe aged 20 in 2006 and trying to visit all of the microstates. Feldkirch was the closest Austrian town to Liechtenstein with a train station. I still vividly remember walking from Vaduz to Schaan trying to find a bed for the night. Love these adventures!

Can't wait the release of the music-- you're one of my favorite artists!

Absolutely love these videos man. Listening to your many adventures is untouchable entertainment for me and the lots of us, it really is. It's also really inspiring, at least to me, and an alarm clock to throw myself out there. Hope you've a lot more never before mentioned travels you can make storytelling series of in the future, it's definitely worth the money paid for patreonship. "I won't bore you" and "I won't go into much detail" are the last things I wanna hear!

What headphones are you wearing for the trip Tom? What’s the sound quality like? I’m an audiologist and I’ve only ever found one make and model of headphones I actually like for sound and they’re hard to get hold of
