Pre Channel Throwbacks: "The technique of a nation: Kicking accuracy"
Added 2021-03-25 17:12:02 +0000 UTCWay back before the channel took off, me and some of my closer friends were always cooking up funny video ideas with a view to potentially grow an audience on YouTube. Some were funny, some were painfully unfunny, some were just a bit daft. This is one of the daft ones.
Filmed on the croft in Aldridge, a beloved piece of land on which I spent most of my teenage years, the plan was to stop passers by and ask them to attempt long distance a trick shot with a football. At least that's how we wanted it to look.. The keen eyed among you will realise that we are in fact acting, and that the "passer by" is actually my best mate, Richard Brennan (great guy) Still, cracking shot. Well.. not quite. we were actually aiming for the bin. The first clip was filmed afterwards. We didn't bother filming another one.
