Aw yeah, salmon and kartoffeln, sounds like the perfect Scandinavian meal! You totally deserved that. I had a lovely slab of medium rare salmon on a bed of potato salad and steamed vegetables, and 2 local beers, before almost falling asleep on the spot. No reindeer Pizza unfortunately! would have definitely ordered that haha

After a vacation in Sweden I recognized them as cloudberries! Although whenever we had food with cloudberry jam, I found it rather bland.

Tom, what sort of dinner/drinks DID you have with Verity after you finished? I know you must have wanted to celebrate your success, and also express thanks to Verity for all her help, but on the other hand I'm guessing there are not super-fancy dining choices so far north in Norway. Was their reindeer pizza? We had that in Åre, Sweden.

Great mission! You probably already know by now, but those funky little berries are cloudberries. Quite tasty and not always easy to find. They are ripe when they are golden-yellow. Should definitely taste some when you come back to cross Norway from north to south.

Oh, man did you miss out on the funky looking berries! Those are cloud berries, and they are much sought after.

So much good stuff in these off-cuts. Amazing scenery, strange flora, feats of agility. You've got some impressive restraint... could easily have milked the series for another couple of episodes!
