5 day hike through Snowdonia, April 2015

Some of my favorite camp spots ever were stumbled upon during on this trip, including an incredible spot by a waterfall, the lawn of an abandoned manor house, an 11th century castle and a mountain bothy. The trip started in Barmouth and snaked north to Porthmadog, Bedgellert, Snowdon, Llanberis, devil's kitchen, betws-y-coed before winding up in Llanfairfechan. I think I was truly in love with Snowdonia after this epic hike.
Excuse the dodgy camera work and questionable editing. It was all I could manage at the time!
Song: Winter Wine by Caravan. A song that Welsh Greg constantly had on on his speakers during this trip and who's oldy worldy, folky lyrics and sounds perfectly complimented the mystical landscape we were venturing though.

2021-02-03 01:34:49 +0000 UTCKings of having great time in great places, whatever the weather is. What fascinates me since ever are those rocky walls=fences everywhere. For some reason, in my country people cleaning land carried rocks to land borders, but not building walls, just throwing them on the ground. I plan in future to rebuild these around my land to walls, let's see if anything hidden inside hoard of stones from centuries ago.
