An insight into the creation of my soundtracks: Lilac Orchard (Part 1)

This is the first (of two) parts of a video in which you get to see my creative process, or at least when it comes to creating the electronic tracks that accompany my grandest adventures.
Now it's been a while, and as a result it took me a while to get going. This was my first day back, attempting to compose, and the creative juices took a little while to get flowing, but I did manage to make some inroads into getting this track towards where it should be. In the second part, you will see the track come on leaps and bounds.
Also, the actual audio from the track is a tad quiet compared to the vocals. I would say you definitely need headphones to enjoy this video.

Still watching the vid, but, man oh man, this brings back multi-decade-old memories of the demo scene from the mid-1990's where so much stunning music was created in "mod trackers" using presumably similar techniques. Back then you only had 4, 8, or 16 tracks, nothing larger was even available. I never made music (I did 2D/3D graphics stuff) but listened to it day and night. Purple Motion, Big Jim, and so many other great artists, and now here comes the young lad Tom to join the fray π
