The first of a handful of miniature foraging expeditions with my brother Ben, who has recently been learning how to forage. By no means are we experts, but we know just enough to KNOW that what we're eating won't kill us.
Soon, we plan to put all of our knowledge and practice to good use and attempt survive in a forest for 3 days. This week we made nettle soup with goose-grass, wood avons and Ribwort plantain in Sutton Park, and made a nice little Hollywood fire in an old den that I made several years ago with friends.
