Took Verity out on a long bike ride. We cycled into a private farm.

Near the village of Wall, we were faced with three options, cycle down a dual carriageway, cycle down a private farm track, or go back the way we came. I've done dual carriageways before and they ain't fun.
To my amazement and relief, there were no dogs running about in the farm, and the gate opened automatically for us, just as I was getting ready to hoist our bikes over the gate.
Afterwards we rewarded ourselves with a banging fish and chips from the chippy. Pukka.
Any of you lot been out on your bikes recently?

That's a good bike! We bought two second hand Calibre bikes. It's not a well known brand because they're only sold in Go Outdoors, a British outdoor shop, but they're pretty high spec for what they're worth. Good group sets. Bargain!
