Thanks Conor!

It's never without worry, always best to be with someone else and don't get into a car with anyone who looked dodgy. I'm definitely planning on doing some filming in the states, but nothing too illegal, for obvious reasons, haha.

tom davies

Thats amazing to hear Sam, thanks!

tom davies

Hmm good question, I don't think I've really thought about that, I think we either would have gone back down to the station to hop on a train or we would have travelled further up the valley by foot to where the road is purely the Simplon pass road and tried to pull cars over or something, but to be honest we would have been fucked, with Ayrton waiting there with the kayaks it would have been a huge disaster.. Maybe we could have got a taxi up to the top of the simplon? as a last resort? luckily we didn't have to think about it too much :)

tom davies

It was great fun :P

They sound like epics. And that's quite a poignant quote! Thanks Michal for your kind words and for your support!

I absolutely love these videos, keep em coming man!

Hannes Forsman

Great video once again dude!

Conor

you should check out bald and bankrupt, he blew up in 2019. his videos remind me of Toms because of how down to earth they are. People love the no BS vlogs, and i think Geowizard will soon grow very fast as well.

Sam Hutson

Another great video, its amazing that you can seemingly hitchhike like that with no issues. i wish i could do that in the US without worry. With that being said, it would be awesome to see you make a video in the states. Has that ever crossed your mind? '

Sam Hutson

Another great video! i cant say i have scene any other vlogs than come close to rivaling this kind of adventure.

Sam Hutson

Did you have a last resort contingency plan in case nobody picked you up? As an absolute last resort, would you have got the train, and paid for it? This would have taken you in the record breaking Simplon Tunnel, which would have been awesome in itself! I don't want to spoil the YouTube magic, but my question really is, if you simply can't get what you want on camera, do you have a Plan B to move to he next step of the journey?

Matt

Damn the scooter thing is hilarious

I had meant to become a supporter back when MAW was being released, but only with this series have I made it a must (first time using this website). It filled such a hole that I had completely forgotten about. It's like the Bear Grylls programmes in my childhood, and the latter parts of the Clarkson-Top Gear series (Burma, Cheap Car Challenges etc.). Just chemistry, good humour, and -actually- quite a challenge that's fun to watch. For as long as you do these challenges you'll have my support. Best content out there, honestly.

Your videos remind me 2 of my greatest adventures: To the Black sea in Romania and To the finish of Finnish railway. Paid train tickets and beds, but still so many things had happen. Very appreciated part of your narrative is (in my opinion) mentioning how nice people you met. Reminds me one song's lyrics "people are not bad, just mankind is terrible". Good luck for further inspirational work, which I hope will make crowds to dig from their molehills out to the world.

Michal Hazucha

Haha cheers Steve, you not gonna get chance in the summer for a little adventure?

tom davies

Cheers Russ! Yeah that valley was stunning. Get out there on a hike mate you can't beat it.

tom davies

I genuinely believe it reached those figures. You saw the steam too! I just wish we had an egg earlier on when it was still hot! It would have burnt.

tom davies

Cheers Arch! I'm just going to keep doing what I love I don't care about being famous. Thanks to you guys hopefully I can keep doing it for some time. More straight lines coming this year, will need that luck. Peace!

tom davies

Thanks Tancred. Means a lot!

tom davies

Cheers Martin! I hope that fun feeling long continues!

tom davies

Never mind, seems to be working now since it's gone public.

Johannes Wiberg

I'm trying to watch it but it says "video is private". But I'm a patron and I'm logged in and everything...

Great to live adventures through you while I'm stuck in college for the next couple years. A perfect balance of savagery and appreciation for the locals.

Steven Hocker

Great stuff, some lovely looking places you visited, gonna bring out the adventurer in me.

Russell Cox

If that brake melted rubber it had to have been at least 180°C

Billy Steen

Fuck a weekly upload we need more family this shits gold, you deserve so much more recognition and when you get it lad I’ll be happy I knew you small and humble, cheers man gl on the adventures ahead :)

Archie Condon

Was such a pleasure to watch. Thanks for the very genuine and honest content! It's so rare on YouTube to have quality content like this. Looking forward for more :)

Tancred

Great episode! It's crazy fun to follow your adventures.

Martin Lundgren

I'm about to watch this episode. I really enjoyed the first one! Were you nervous about changing up the format from the one-man 'straight-line' mission to this? It seems to have been received very well by the youtube subscribers, but I can imagine it's a risky thing. You did a great job keeping the style and humorous vibe of the straight-line mission, but creating something excitingly new and unique at the same time. Happy New Year, and may you have plenty of ludicrous and wild, but ultimately safe, adventures in 2020!
